What if I told you that none of Joanie Hall’s possessions; clothing, bags, or school books were ever found from the day she went missing?

In her possession were four school issued books… and the first on the list is “The Ballad of the Sad Cafe” by Carson McCullers.

I have this compulsion to check every copy I come across to see if it was a Warrenton High Book.

She’s out there somewhere.

People don’t vanish from the middle of a town on a Friday afternoon. They are hidden.

Ever drive Hwy 53 and pass an idyllic road called "Gods Valley Road?"

It was somewhere along that road, that the remains of Tammy Albertson were found just under a year from when she went missing during spring break of 1992.

Last seen using the payphone at the Mohler Co-Op... she vanished. Police took it seriously, at first fresh off the heals of Doreen Raterman's murder... but eventually county officials said they were confident she was a runaway.

She wasn't.

Her case is still unsolved... and her remains weren’t released to the family until 2000.

What if I told you, that in 1978, two female Tongue Point Job Corps students named Teresa Kruse and Elena Jacobs disappeared from campus and not one person reported them missing? Even though all of their belongings, including their purses were left behind?

What if I told you, that the only reason anyone found out they were missing... was because EIGHT MONTHS LATER a person walking in the dunes at Del Ray Beach State Park stumbled across what they would later realize were human remains. After police were notified, a second body would also be discovered.

What if I told you that the murders of Teresa Kruse and Elena Jacobs have never been solved? But what if I told you their murders weren't the first or the last?

Please help find Eric.

Eric is missing from the Seaview Washington area. Last seen in Seaview at a neighbors house at approximately 7:30am on Sunday, June 6th 2021, where he left his dog and never returned. This is completely out of character for Eric.

There is confirmation that Eric had suffered some sort of head injury with the last contact on a June 6th.

Eric is approximately 6’1”, 180 pounds. Clean cut.

Eric was driving a white 2016 Scion ia with an orange Goonies t-shirt on the front passenger side seat. It’s creepy and you would remember it if you saw it.

Missing persons report has been filed.

Eric’s vehicle was found at Eagles Nest Resort in Ilwaco shortly after his disappearance. A Search and Rescue crew was sent to the location approximately ONE MONTH after his vehicle was found and came up empty handed.

Eagles Nest Resort reported that they recall seeing Eric the night before his vehicle was discovered and that he “appeared intoxicated” apparently looking in their storage sheds and wondering the property aimlessly, however they did not contact authorities before he “did not appear to be stealing anything”.

His vehicle was then discovered when the resort called to have the vehicle towed.

Eric’s phone was pinged in Auburn Washington for approximately 16 days after he was reported missing. The area where the tower his phone was pinged was searched but came up empty handed. Police informed the family that they would be getting access to his phone log but have since stopped responding or retuning phone calls.

There is reason to believe that Eric’s bank accounts are still being used as of 9/24/2021. Police were also supposed to be subpoenaing that information months ago, but we have yet to hear anything on the subject and they are still not returning any of the families calls.

All contact with the Pacific County Sheriffs Office has been left unanswered. It has been months without a simple call back. We are at a loss and completely appalled by the negligence of the Pacific County Sheriffs Office.

If you happen to see Eric or possibly know of his wearabouts please call 911

🔳 UPDATE DECEMBER 29th 2018.
Today the protection order placed on the Joan Leigh Hall case files - regarding Joanies disappearance on September 30, 1983, has been lifted. ⚖️

The disappearance of Joanie Hall continues to be DELIBERATELY shrouded in mystery. Clearly the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office is not interested in solving what happened to her. But WHY? Is it because nothing will bring her back and her parents both died 11 years after Joanie’s disappearance? Is it because Deputy Gerald Basch -the first Deputy on the scene- DELIBERATELY did all he could to sink this case? Including interviewing his own son? And the CCSO is now worried about liability because they had a bad cop on their hands? We also find it very disingenuous that now retired Clatsop County Judge Paula Brownhill, who ostensibly built her career on “helping victims”, signed this “protective order” that sealed Joanie Hall’s case for 75 YEARS. Ms. Brownhill obviously did not care too much about VICTIM JOANIE HALL. Furthermore, the Hall Family was not alerted that this “protective order” that SEALED JOANIE’S CASE SHUT FOR 75 YEARS, was even being done. In fact, this extremely secretive and stealthy action was accomplished on 10 December 2018. There is not even a CASE NUMBER for this so called “protective order” signed by Paula Brownhill. Was the legal notice for this placed in some little podunk newspaper where it would not be SEEN by anyone who could have disputed this action? Or was that legal step dispensed with altogether? If a legal notice WAS placed in a newspaper, was Joanie’s NAME even included? Because it appears that the ONLY TWO PARTIES TO THE CASE are actually the State of Oregon and Clatsop County, Oregon. Why is there NO NUMBER on this case ? The mistakes and improprieties in this case go on and on ad infinitum. Since September of 1983 the case of Joan Leigh Hall has screamed COVER UP. And 37 years later the case of Joanie Hall CONTINUES to scream COVER UP. And those with the POWER to help Joanie obtain justice & or even to find her remains, and to give Joanie’s loved ones ANSWERS, have WILLFULLY done all they could to ensure that this will NOW NEVER HAPPEN. In conclusion, the person(s) who took the life of Joanie Hall by murdering her and hiding or disposing of her remains so that she could not even be buried with love and dignity, are not the ONLY monsters among us. Sometimes it’s the officials who took an OATH to uphold the laws and ensure that a VICTIM receives justice - but who instead MISUSED their powers to COVER IT UP, who are just as monsterous as any murderer. 🚔👿⚖️

“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.” ~ Elie Wiesel

I love this post by Oregon's Missing Persons. Sometimes you need someone to help you adovocate to get things done!

The 24 hour waiting period to report a missing person is a MYTH.

There is NO waiting period in Oregon to report a missing loved one. Even if it’s been 5 minutes.

Please share this and please make sure it gets to the eyes of the dispatchers and other people who take phone calls at police stations.

There is no waiting period in Oregon and their refusal to take a missing persons report as soon as it’s called in is against the law.

I know they are required to know a lot of laws, but they need to commit this one to memory because people’s lives depend on it. The searching loved ones need immediate support.

When someone tells me that they were told no to being able to report or that they have to wait 24 hours to report, I’ll call the station for them to try to clear up this misconception. So if they tell someone that, and they share it with me, I’m just going to call the station, then they are going to call the station again and start the whole thing over when you were supposed to take the report as soon as it comes in and avoid all the run around.

People in this situation should not be put through any kind of obstacles to receiving help.
