If you haven’t been out to Hundred Acre Woods trails in the City of Coquille you’re missing out. Multiple walking trials, and biking trails of varying difficulties all very nicely designed and well maintained. Also some great news they just completed their bathrooms.

Motorcycle nearly strikes Deputy at over 100 mph “Head on,” while on normal patrol on Hwy 42 near North Bank Lane.

Deputies attempt to stop the dangerous driver resulting in law enforcement vehicle crash on Libby Lane.

More info to follow when it becomes available.

Suspect motorcycle is a Black Street Bike with red in the rims.

If anyone knows of this motorcycle or the suspect please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 541-396-2106 immediately as they have endangered multiple citizens and law enforcement.

Great Job! Coquille Valley Elementary School!
They raised $520 for the K9 Program.

The Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a paw-some surprise - a $520 donation for their K9 program from the awesome second graders at Coquille Valley Elementary and a mysterious benefactor. Sheriff Fabrizio hung out with the second graders, and told them all about the K9 superstars Poe and Cena. The CVE crew went all out, organizing a coin drive that fetched a whopping $520 for the K9 program. With the program running on donations, this paw-sitively generous gift will go a long way in caring for our furry crime-fighting pals.

Bear Cupboard is a great food pantry providing food to many family’s in the coos county area.🍔🌭🌮🥗🥪🍕🍗

They will be open this Thursday March 7th. For those who have not been it is fairly simple there will be volunteers all around to aid you in sign up and where to park and wait. You can also pick up for other families in need unable to make it!

They are located at 1320 Maryland Ave, Myrtle Point, Oregon.
