From its beginnings as a courthouse to its role as a plantation, school, and even a post office, this house has witnessed it all. But the most captivating story revolves around Grace Sherwood, accused of witchcraft in the 17th century. Grace's tale, full of lawsuits, mysterious events, and even a trial by ducking, lingers as one of many haunted narratives within these walls.

Today on our new Bizarre Holiday Blog : TEA FOR 2 TUESDAY ☕
This holiday is exactly like it sounds, enjoy a cup of tea with someone preferably whose company you enjoy. Even throw a tea party! Just don't invite Graham Young from Middlesex, England.
From youth Graham was fascinated by poisons. At 14 years old he had made his sister and father sick. He even poisoned his stepmother who may or may not have died from it. She was cremated without an autopsy so we will never know. He also got Christopher Williams, a classmate of his who ended up in the hospital. He admitted to the crimes and was sent to Broadmoor Hospital for 8/9 years. Although while still at Broadmoor an inmate of Grahams died by cyanide poisoning. 💀
He began work at John Hadland Laboratories, however the company was not informed of his past as a convicted poisoner. He would make trips to London to stock up on his varied supplies of poisons, and met Trevor Sparks along the way. Soon Trevor was experiencing stomach cramps and vomiting during Graham's visits.
One of Graham's favorite things to do at work was make people tea. He may have poisoned 70 coworkers. However Bob Egle, Graham's boss, was the first to pass. Bob would rest at home, get better, then get sick again at work. He died July 7th 1971 - though his cause of death was written as pneumonia.
That September Fred Biggs, another coworker, was suffering the same symptoms as Bob Egle. He suffered cramps, hair loss, and sexual dysfunction just like countless other workers. November 19th, Fred passed away in horrible pain. According to Graham's dairy - it took far too long and it annoyed him. 📖
Graham challenged the onsite doctor - asking why thallium poisoning wasn't considered. His major knowledge of thallium worried the doctor and the doc turned it into police. Graham Young was arrested again on November 21st 1971.
He died in 1990 at age 42 from a supposed heart attack.
