Our Beautiful Boys 😍🩵

It's been just under 3 weeks since baby Koda came home, and what a whirlwind it's been! He's a very different puppy than Atlas was. Everything Atlas was fine with, Koda really isn't. Everything Atlas struggled with, Koda is fine, which means we have a little land shark that must try and eat every single thing in sight, has no fear of things like the hoover or hairdryer and will try and eat those too, will cry at every slight inconvenience to him, and will screeeeeam the house down if we don't get him out of the crate in precisely 0.3 seconds of him waking up. We also forgot very quickly after Atlas just how much work puppies are! 🥴

Despite this though, when Koda isn't hanging off Atlas's ears (or plumbs 😖) they are actually very good together, and I can't wait to see their bond grow as Koda gets older. They're the cutest pair ever 🥹

Closest to a Cuddle we've had so far 😱

Lynx is our oldest boy at 9, and people who don't know him think he's a miserable bu**er because he's a little particular about where you can stroke him 😅

But anyone who does know him, knows he's the biggest softie in the world! And he's always been the best with new animals. We said from the start he'd be the first to accept Atlas, and I'd say we're well the way to getting there 🥰🐶🐱

Atlas's first experience with a Christmas Tree 🎄

Atlas had his first visit to another one of his Aunties today and encountered his first Christmas Tree... and he didn't try to eat it! (Much 😅😂)

Okay he had a little nibble at first, but then didn't fuss at all and decided that was his chill spot after playing with the kids 😂

Atlas had so much fun at his Brothers, , yesterday! 🥰

They haven't seen each other for a couple of weeks so it was so sweet to see them together, they didn't leave each other alone for a second 🐶🐶

⭐10 Weeks Old Today ⭐

Progress 😍

Cosmo is our youngest kitty cat (1.5 years), and has been petrified of Atlas since we brought him home. The first week he barely left the kitchen when Atlas was up, then would come and inspect him through the baby gate, and over the past few days has started to come and settle on the cat tower in the evenings.

This morning though, he's been watching Atlas play through the gate, and started to roll on his back chirping, and stretch his Paws out which is his way of saying he wants to play, and then when Atlas was having some down time, Cosmo came in and lay like this!

Anyone who knows cats knows 'belly up' mean total comfort with their surroundings, and we did not expect to see this for a long time 🥰

Another one ticked off the list ✅🐾

Still can't get over how quickly Atlas is picking things up (especially seeing as he's the first dog I've ever trained 😂) but he can now Sit, Lie Down, Wait, and give Paw brilliantly! He's getting really good at his Leave It (where we drop food on the floor) and Focus so he looks at us instead of the food 💖

His attitude is still horrendous with me when he's tired or fed up of performing, but he will still do it every time so I'll take that 😂

Officially 2 whole weeks with this one this evening! 😱

The amount of love and stress I've felt, simultaneously, should not be possible in such a short time, but here we are 🙃😂

I've decided I'm going to start calling him Poppins. He's practically perfect in every way... except for those bloody teeth! 🦈🐊🦷

Splish-Splash, Atlas had his First Bath (at home 😅) 🎶🧼🛁

We'd not bothered yet as we didn't want to stress him out and give him an upset tummy before his jabs 💉

He wasn't happy with us but he tolerated it, and the the Hairdryer 😅

The Boy's absolutely shattered bless him 😴

Atlas did so well at the vets! I'm so so proud of him and he got SO MANY CUDDLES 😍 He was absolutely loving the attention from the Vets, Nurses and the Ladies on reception, I don't think he wanted to leave 😂

We walked (he was in a puppy sling) down through the precinct to the bus stop to get some socialisation in and he just wanted to investigate everything, and got lots more attention off the shoppers... and then he bagged us a free bus ride home and has chilled with us on the sofa so it's been a good day for all of us really 💪😂

Back in 4 Weeks then the real adventures can begin 😍🥰💖

We had our first full nights sleep last night 🙊

He was so cuddly in the evening yesterday we let him nap on the sofa with us, and I thought he'd have me up super early when we put him to bed, but he slept in his crate from 10:30 til 7:30 this morning! 😱

He has his first injections this morning which also means his first trip on a bus, so I'm praying he's not too phased by it 😅

Practicing some more nice Leash Work and Focus with our boy in the Garden today 🐶

He's doing so well considering we've only had him home a week, and with having a communal garden with lots of neighbours, there's lots of different smells, noises and sights to distract him! Especially now he's gaining confidence 👀

I try to use very few treats outside so that he's responding to me and not just the expectation of something yummy at the end. I'm hoping this will mean if we have any struggles when he's allowed on his walks, I can then use the treats as an extra bonus 😅

Atlas had a delivery today from 🧥

Our very lovely neighbour offered to buy him a fleece to help keep him warm and dry on his toilet trips to the garden 🥰

She's always been so lovely to the cats... she's their honourary Aunty Kath, and now she absolutely loves our Atlas 😍

I do have a bone to pick with you all though. WHY did no one tell me how hard it is to get one of these things on a puppy! It was like wrestling a bloody Octopus 🐙😑😂

He's not a fan yet, but he'll get there 👍

It was too hard to get on picture of the three of us so we had to take turns 😂 The first one is Carys! And the second on is Naomi (the one you've most likely been speaking too) 🥰
