Day 1: Started reading “Thinking, fast and slow” by Daniel Kahneman. I am trying to form the habit of reading by reading at-least 30 mins a day, and for accountability I am also making a uninterrupted study YouTube video as well.
What do you guys think of the book?
The book in its introduction introduces the concept of slow and fast thinking. How our minds have two systems and each is designed for thinking certain kind of things. Basically, one system is better at using experience based recollection such as 2x2 =? Or the capital of Paris is ? as mentioned in the book. The other system is the slow thinking system that requires more effort and focus. Simple examples would be multiplication of 17*24 or reviewing a book or filing out a tax return.
