Cheer Coach Proud Moment... I am so proud of these girls for cheering loud and proud for their Panthers! They provided a great atmosphere! The gym sounded wonderful with the student section. Thank you Student Section for cheering with the cheerleaders. A lot of things can make you a talented cheerleader, but having a loving cheer heart for your fellow peers is the best characteristic to me. Let's keep cheering loud and proud at JSU.

Mrs. Ward's sixth grade ELA/ Writing classes are working on personal narrative essays the first nine weeks. She came up with a cute little jingle to help them remember their Introductory Paragraph 1. Write a Hook Fishing/ Cast a line 2. Write it down - pencil 3. She added " Ask a question" ? 4. Restate your topic - loud voice 5. List your reasons- count them out

Homecoming Pep Rally Highlights! We have the Best Pep Rallies around! We are in a Spirit Contest with BIGGER schools in the surrounding counties, but we know how BIG our Community Support for SGHS really is. We are asking all of our SG FANS to go to the WEAC- TV24 page and like all of our videos!!!! There is a few!!! The winning school will get a Trophy and some TV time!!!! What if our Little 1A School showed out and beat these 2A- 6A Schools. We do not have a band or dance line, but we do have SPIRIT! We are Perfect just the way are.
