CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT AND GRANTS FOR WOMEN AND YOUTHS IN FISH FARMING IN AWELGA/ONELGA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

~Rep. Victor Obuzor Continues Empowerment Trait, Sponsors Constituents.

The Honourable Member Representing Ahoada-West and Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituency, Hon. (Engr) Victor Obuzor, MNSE, DSSRS on the 18th July, 2023 sponsored a One Day Free Training and Empowerment Program for Women and Youths in Fish Farming in Ahoada-West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituency.

The empowerment program facilitated by the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria was held at Casoni International Hotels & Suites Ltd, Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt, having participants from AWELGA/ONELGA in attendance.

The participants were lectured on the latest trends and practices in fish farming and how best to scale up their farms to boost sales and increase their revenue and in turn quality of life of themselves, their dependants and the community at large.

After the program, the participants were issued with certificates of participation and a Starter Pack that includes;

*Bags of fish feed
*100 Fingerlings each
*Cash Grants

Rep. Victor Obuzor in a press briefing, said he has only just started fulfilling the contractual obligation he entered into with his constituents to improve the quality of their lives even with the current economic upheavals as his campaign hinged on THE PEOPLE’S CONTRACT.

In his words,

"I promised quality representation and empowerment of constituents, ensuring all that is and should be accrued to the good people of Ahoada West and Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni federal constituency rightly gets to them from the centre.

"Recall our promises during campaigns, recall the People's Contract, Elections are over, it's now time for Good Governance."

The beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to the Rep. Member, pointing out how important the program and grants is to them, as fish farming is a mainstay in the region, says the program has ushered them into a new income generation opportunity.

ENGR. VICTOR OBUZOR RE-EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO THE PEOPLE OF AWELGA/ONELGA.

~ Reassures implementation of the People's Contract.

The House of Representatives Member-Elect for Ahoada West/Ogba Egbema Ndoni Federal Constituency, Engr. Victor Obuzor has once again expressed his gratitude to the People of Ahoada West and Ogba Egbema Ndoni Constituency for their massive support for him at the polls and their decision to vote him as their Representative at the National Assembly.

Engr. Victor Obuzor said he is still overwhelmed by their love for him and prior to the May 29th inauguration ceremony, he has find it necessary to restate the magnitude of his gratitude to them.

In his words,
"I want to specially thank my good People of AWELGA/ONELGA once again for their indisputable love for me and for finding me worthy to serve as their Representative. I'm a Member-Elect today because you said i should be there for you. Your decisions at the polls spoke so loud and i'm so grateful for your support.

"May 29th is few days from now, I will be sworn in by the grace of God as a Member of the Federal House of Representatives to serve you all. All of these wouldn't have been possible if not for your decisions at the polls. Thank you all for choosing me, thank you for choosing a change to the narrative of our Constituency. Let's make a difference together."

Victor also reassured the implementation of the People's Contract. He said the Contract which is set to bring a new dispensation of Education, Empowerment, Health, Sports and Social Services, Infrastructure, Industrial and Community Development remains irrevocable and has called for all hands to be on deck as he looks forward to work collectively with leaders of every relevant body of the Constituency to achieve the fruition.

Engr. Victor Obuzor said the People of Ahoada West/Ogba Egbema Ndoni has made the best decision in electing him and it is time for them to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
