👋🏼 hey! I’m still here.
Just REALLL busy. If you listen to the podcast you know that we move home soon and by soon I mean 9 days SOON. I am overwhelmed, anxious, excited and a little sad all at the same time.
Our movers come Thursday 😱 and then just a few more day till I’m on a plane having an anxiety attack about Cora not keeping her mask on. Apparently, two year olds have to wear them 🙄 but really please send good vibes.

I haven’t talked much about WHY I started a true crime podcast, so maybe now is a good time.
When I had my daughter two years ago, I made the decision to stay at home with her. We’re a military family living on Oahu currently and the cost of childcare would literally be more than my hourly wage and it just didn’t make sense for us. I love going to work, I love socializing with humans, I love having my own cash, I love everything about having a job. 😂 I am thankful for the opportunity to stay home but man can it make you a little crazy.
I started listening to , the first podcast I ever listened to. I would listen to it on our morning walks with my headphones in and then when my husband would be away for long period of time it kept me company at night while I worked on projects. I found comfort in it, it gave me something to look forward to in my routine, very lonely days as a stay at home mom.
One day while walking, it hit me. What if I made my OWN podcast? What’s stopping me? Nothing. Literally nothing. I researched. I watched countless YouTube videos on editing and recording. I invested all my birthday money into my equipment and ya know what, I’m doing the dang thing!
Is it a lot of work, yes. Is it intimidating, heck yes. Do I know what I’m doing, mostly no. Is it filling my cup and hopefully yours too, 100%.
