An Israeli jewelry company is working on what it says will be the world’s most expensive coronavirus mask, a gold, diamond-encrusted face covering with a price tag of 👉 $1.5 million.

The 18-karat white gold mask will be decorated with 3,600 white and black diamonds and fitted with top-rated N99 filters at the request of the buyer, said designer Isaac Levy.

Levy, owner of the Yvel company, said the buyer had two other demands: that it be completed by the end of the year, and that it would be the priciest in the world. That last condition, he said, “was the easiest to fulfill.”

“Money maybe doesn’t buy everything, but if it can buy a very expensive COVID-19 mask and the guy wants to wear it and walk around and get the attention, he should be happy with that,” Levy said.

“I am happy that this mask gave us enough work for our employees to be able to provide their jobs in very challenging times like these times right now,” he said.

Bruce McConville was sentenced to jail for 30 days after he told a judge that he 🔥burned 👉 $1 million in Canadian dollars to avoid having to pay his former wife spousal and child support as part of their divorce settlement.

The 55-year-old businessman, who once ran a failed bid for mayor of Ottawa, reportedly told a Superior Court judge that he took out the money — $1,050,000 in all — from six different bank accounts through 25 different withdrawals and kept receipts of the transactions, which amount to about 👉 $790,000 USD, as proof.

A Swedish motorist caught driving at 290km/h (180mph) in Switzerland could be given a world-record speeding fine of
👉 SFr1.08m ($1m; £656,000), prosecutors say.

The 37-year-old, who has not been named, was clocked driving his Mercedes sports car at 170km/h over the limit.

Under Swiss law, the level of fine is determined by the wealth of the driver and the speed recorded.

In January, a Swiss driver was fined $290,000 - the current world record.

Local police spokesman Benoit Dumas said of the latest case that "nothing can justify a speed of 290km/h".

"It is not controllable. It must have taken 500m to stop," he said.

The Swede's car - a Mercedes SLS AMG - has been impounded and in principle he could be forced to pay a daily fine of SFr3,600 for 300 days.

A Slovakian vehicle company wants to solve the problem of failing infrastructure by taking to the skies. AeroMobil designs flying cars that utilize existing airplane runways, thus relieving some pressure from congested roads.

The car is available for pre-order and the company claims it will be ready for delivery in 2020. It will come in at a price tag of 👉 $1.2 million to $1.6 million and will require users to have both a driver’s and a pilot’s license.

The vehicle transforms from car to plane in three minutes. In testing, the car has reached a driving speed of 100 mph and a flying speed of 224 mph.
