The Old Guys were out on track last night with Jeff, Mooney and Ron tackling Lime Rock Park in the GT4 cars. Jeff was the Old Guy of the night with a great race finishing on the lead lap in 4th spot. Ron clawed back to 7th a lap down after touching the grass and Mooney finished 12th. The competition is getting better, or we're getting older... LOL

The old guys were on track this week with East 2 West Racing. GT3 action on Sunday night, Williams F1 cars on Wednesday and Porsche Cup cars on Thursday. Best finish was Old Guy Ron Giovo with a P3 in the Williams and Spa in the Porsche.

Old Guy Ron here in the 84 Ferrari tried and tried but could not get past Ryan Frey last Sunday night. Jeff and Mooney were also in on the action, all 3 of us finished right together again in 6th, 7th, and 8th.

The Old Guys were out in force last night at the Last Man Standing Motorsports GrandpasKitchen.com GTE Team Race sponsored by Stair Fittings Inc. Ron and Chip landed 5th position, with Mooney and Jeff finishing in 6th and 7th. Great racing all around and a solid effort by all the Old Guys.

What's hot at Last Man Standing Motorsports? Team Racing! Last night the drivers teamed up in an epic battle with 15 drivers in 8 GTE cars. Brandon Duley and Julian Lockwood took the win over Zack Howell and Raymond Heilig in this 90 minute shoot out. The race was tight in the first half with Brandon pulling away from Ray early on but at the exchange Zack was running Julian down and fell short by only 10 seconds after 90 minutes of hard racing. Sean Williams and Todd Schwarz took the third spot on the podium with another great team effort, and the fastest lap of the race. Fan favorite Adam Novotny took the 4th spot at the stripe with team mate Uncle Don Ackley having the 2nd lowest incident points and running up front early. Two weeks in on the East 2 West Racing GT4 series and 2 wins for Old Guy Ron Giovo. Fellow Old Guy TJ Ahlman is also piling up the wins in the East 2 West Racing Track Series with 2 in a row of his own in the Porsche 992 at Long Beach and the Miata MX-5 at Red Bull Ring. This weekend Old Guys TJ, Ron and Mooney will be tackling the Sebring 12 hour which will be live on Bigg Wizurd TV. tv.wizurdracing.com

East 2 West Racing League is in full swing this week with all three series running league races, and the GT3 series coming up on it's season finale. The new series in the league is the Road Racing East Series which is being run Thursday evenings with the GT4 cars. With the recent release of the GT4 Aston Martin in iRacing the series now includes 4 different cars, with BMW, Porsche, McLaren and Aston Martin represented. Ron Giovo has jumped out to the early season lead winning the first two races at Red Bull Ring and the new Winton Raceway. In other news, TJ Ahlman is gaining momentum on Ron in the Wednesday Track Series West Championship with a victory in the MX-5's this week and only 2 races to go. Only 9 of the 12 races count and Ron sits with 4 series wins and TJ with 3, the series is heating up for a dynamic finish at the last race in the Porsche 992 Cup cars at Red Bull Ring. Last but not least, the season finale of the East 2 West GT3 Challenge Season 4 is on tap for Sunday night. Drivers will be running a double as the 100 minute finale will be live on Bigg Wizurd TV at 9:00 pm ET. TJ Ahlman took this victory in style winning the Porsche 992 Track Series at East to West Racing Wednesday night with a dominating flag to flag performance. Mooney finished 3rd and Ron 4th after a final turn move that was referred to as a good addition to the WWE.

Half way thru the month of March here at Bigg Wizurd TV and the racing is back in full swing at East 2 West Racing. With the Thursday series starting back up today in the GT4 cars at Red Bull Ring, all three series are up and running again. Last night in the Track Series West at Long Beach in the Porsche Cup 992's, TJ Ahlman took the pole, the lead, and the win, leading every lap. Ron Giovo held on to second spot until the final lap where Bill Edwards stole the spot away and ran off with P2 in the race. The Sunday series is coming to a close with 2 races remaining and everyone trying to hunt down Morgan Tegey as he extended his lead over the field last Sunday at Imola with another victory. Old Guys TJ Ahlman, Michael Mooney, Jeff Wyatt, and Ron Giovo all raced at Sebring in the team endurance series. Jeff and his teammate Tyler took the top spot among the Old Guys with a P4 finish.

New series begin and old series continue at Last Man Standing this week. The GrandpasKitchen.com GTE Series with leader Morgan Tegey enters the mid-season break with the first round of the GrandpasKitchen.com GTE Team Endurance Series as Brandon Duley and Morgan took the victory at Sebring this past Tuesday. The new series only runs once every six weeks, so watch here for details on race 2 at Watkins Glen in May. The Wednesday Mud Slinger Series is happy to bring on new sponsor "Baked by Love" with the second consecutive season of the Lucas Oil Pro Trucks. Another new series in week 2 of the 10 week season, the RustRidge Studios IndyCar oval series ran at Las Vegas Motorspeedway where Michael Mooney took the top spot of the real drivers among a field of AI past champions. A huge congratulations to Old Guy TJ for winning the GT1 and overall from the East 2 West Racing Multi-Class East Series. Ron also leads the East 2 West Racing Track Series just over half way in the season.

The month of March is here, in like a lamb I would say, and out just like the end of the month, when the racing action is going to be raging like a lion. Season 4 of the GT3 Challenge winds down over the next few weeks where Morgan Tegey has command of the series winning again in Chicago on the street course. And just past the half way point, Ron Giovo has the Track Series lead working on Long Beach track for the next couple weeks. Congratulations are in order for the Season 2 Multi-Class winners; TJ Ahlman who took the overall championship and the GT1 Class win claiming victory in 8 of the 9 races counted beating Julian Lockwood in a close second; and Brandon Duley who took the top step of the championship podium in the TCR class edging out Sean Williams in the final race of the season. East 2 West Racing moves to pre-season mode where there will be a lot of practicing and tuning going on as the drivers prepare for the next season of prototype racing (pictured). Old Guy Ron took the season 2 F1 championship with a 4th place finish at Montreal this past Friday. Old Guy TJ took the championship victory in the Pro 4 Trucks in Season 3 of the LMS Mud Slinger Series with 3 wins in 8 races. Great showing by all of the Old Guys!

The Pro 2 Trucks have landed at Last Man Standing Motorsports. Wednesday's Mud Slinger Series moves into it's 4th full season of racing with series running on Dirt Truck tracks this season. There is also talk of running a few paved road courses. The Grandpa's Kitchen GTE series is the only LMS series mid-season as the drivers passed down under at the half way mark running at Bathurst. Morgan Tegey still leads the points over Julian Lockwood and Michael Mooney. Thursday saw the first very successful test of the IndyCar oval RustRidge Studios Track Day Series and the Formula 1 Season 2 finale went down to the wire Friday night with Ron Giovo taking the championship over Troy Banks and Brandon Duley. Monday is heating up with the LMS Xfinity Series and the Rookies will be racing the GT3 cars again Thursday late night. Four of the five series are in recruitment mode for the next week or two, so let everyone know that wants to race in a competitive fun environment there are spots available. The Old Guys were out in force at the East 2 West Racing GT3 Challenge with Tim starting in the 3rd spot, Jeff, Ron and Mooney battling through the field Sunday with 15 drivers storming through the corners at Lime Rock Park. Tim had a strong outing and a 2nd place finish, Ron ran clean with zero incidents landing in 7th spot from a P12 start, Jeff started 9th and ended 9th and Mooney ran hard and fast but finished a couple laps down.

It's too, 2, to, twenty-two, Tuesday at Bigg Wizurd TV and we have been covering all of the action at East 2 West Racing this past week. We'll start off with Sunday night's GT3 action where 15 drivers took to the tight turns of Lime Rock in a 58 lap shoot out. Morgan Tegey captured the pole, took the win and struck gold moving up in the points to the top spot with only 5 races to go in the ever tightening championship just ahead of Rich Hibbs. Tim Ahlman also running the BMW M4 shot down the competition for a 2nd place finish. Next week the drivers head to the streets of Chicago for more tight racing action. Tim also picked up his first win at the East 2 West Track Series on Wednesday night leading 37 of the 44 laps holding off Ron Giovo, current series leader, by 10 seconds at the stripe. Two wins in two days came Thursday night for Tim with continued dominance of the GT1 series at Belle Isle locking down the series championship with only one race to go. Sean Williams took the TCR class win moving ever closer to Brandon Duley for the points lead coming up to the finale at Barcelona in the Multi-Class East racing series Thursday night.

Three of the Old Guys joined in on Friday night for Formula 1 racing at Nurburgring. Tim Ahlman topped the Old Guy charts with a podium finish in third spot while Ron Giovo and Michael Mooney finished 6th and 8th respectively. 9 laps around the Nordschleife was challenging for all drivers and a lot of fun.

I cannot believe another week has gone by at Last Man Standing Motorsports. Monday night kicked off with the Xfinity Cars at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where Kellen Love took the top spot. Tuesday brought Indy Cars and the GTE class with Brandon Duley capturing the overall victory at Le Mans with Morgan Tegey harnessing the power of the GTE class. With racing every night of the week, Last Man Standing Motorsports is the place to be. Pro 4 Dirt Trucks on Wednesday night's with iRX Track Day and Rookie racing on Thursdays. Friday night was Formula 1 last week at Zandvoort and this week around the Nürburgring. Wins this week by Tim Ahlman, Brandon Duley, and Morgan on the F1 track, you don't need to look too hard to find the action. What a race! Old guy Tim Ahlman takes the GTE class win and this battle closed out the overall IndyCar finish. Amazing racing, amazing people. If you are not here, you are missing out.

Last Man Standing Motorsports kicks off season 4 of the GrandpasKitchen.com road racing series with one of the best unexpected pairings in a multi-class racing. The energy is high as the IndyCars join the GTE cars in Tuesday night racing action sponsored by Stair Fittings Inc. At the kickoff race IndyCar drivers Brandon Duley and Philip Scott battled wheel to wheel for the full hour finishing only .43 seconds apart at the Nuburgring GP. The second race of the season saw these two fine drivers duke it out again at the Daytona Road Course where the racing couldn't possibly get any better than race one... or could it? Nose to tail, Brandon and Philip once again amazed the viewers on Bigg Wizurd TV with a show stopper, ending with a photo finish and a gap of only 0.007 seconds, less than 1/100th of a second. Tim Ahlman drove a superior performance in the GTE class taking the win after a late pitstop put second spot door to door with the leader for a brief corner as Tim puled away for the victory. A couple old guys went to Imola Sunday night to run in the Last Man Standing Motorsports Dragonfyre GT3 Challenge. Ron just made the top 10 with a 9th place finish and Mooney took home 13th. Great racing and great fun for the drivers in the Challenge with top competition at the front.

The Dragonfyre GT3 Challenge is coming to its exciting close, as after tonight's race there are just two to go and the top spot is completely up for grabs as Philip Scott still holds on to the lead by 1 championship point over Brandon Duley. But they will not be the only ones vying for the championship spot as Rich Hibbs pulled off another podium finish tonight moving within 50 points of the lead. That seems like a large gap, but with Rich still needing 2 full points races to reach 11 races and with him averaging over 30 points per race, Brandon and Philip need to find 10-12 points over the next two weeks to hold him off. Any way you look at it, wins are priceless and bonus points are made of gold and there are only 2 races to go! Congratulations to Morgan Tegey, Chris Springer and Rich for the podium spots in tonight's race at Imola. If these guys all race a full schedule for season 4 the championship will most likely be decided by fastest lap bonus points. Tonight's race at Imola had Morgan, Chris, and Rich in the top 3 spots, Brandon Duley finishing 4th, newcomer Bruno Alcaraz in 5th with Nate Brodie, Tyler Gregor, Joe Fierro, Ron Giovo and Bill Edwards rounding out the top 10.
