When I was focused mainly on my acting career, having a website was a total no-brainer. My mentors told me, "They don't have to be fancy, but they need to be industry-standard and have the important info that casting directors need to quickly decide 'yes' or 'no.'"

So I got it - I figured it out, put together a decent site, and started booking more gigs. Then bigger projects came along, and I found myself designing websites and graphics for all kinds of artists and biz owners too. The more I got into it, the more I realized I had a real knack for translating creative visions into high-impact online presences. What started as a necessity turned into this unexpected side hustle.

At first, I was just getting my feet wet - simple one-pagers for $175. But as I kept honing my skills, those sites evolved into full-blown digital showstoppers that I was charging $5,000 for! Sure, the font discussions and coding challenges weren't always my fave. But, seeing the transformative impact on my clients' businesses? That was the real reward.

The last couple of weeks, I’ve been somewhere between “You Go, Girl!” and “Girl, no.”😒🙄

There are sooo many moving parts in my life right now and all I really wanted to do was lay.down!

And I did. I definitely did! 💅🏽

But then I found the strength to just do one more rep.

You know what I mean?

✨Send one more email.
✨Reach out to one more person who was on my heart.
✨Accept one more invite.
✨Smile at one more person.
✨Give one more encouraging word.
✨Repeat the directive WITH KINDNESS to the kids, one more time.
✨Pray one more day for the strength, the courage, and the will to do the things before me.

I just did one more rep...until I finally got to a place where I didn’t have to fight through the day to show up. I had the “spark” back and could happily show up.

But here’s what I learned in the process:
the reason the “why” is so important is because there are just days when you don’t want to do all, or even some of, the things.
..whether you like what you’re doing or not, there are literally days when you’d just rather stay in bed or on the sofa. Am I right?

Some days, I did. But most days, I got up and just gave it my best.

My “best” resulted in:
* booking an upcoming speaking gig in Miami
* an invite to participate in a few summits
* flowers and cupcakes from my oldest to say, “Thank you” 🥹
* an impromptu lunch with a new friend that resulted in her pushing through her foggy place and opening her mind and heart to some more meaningful and lucrative career options (right before a major and surprising interview invite dropped in her inbox!) Sooo excited for her!😱
*...and an invite to breakfast with a potential client who wants to start a new practice!🫢

Y’all! LADIES, especially, hear me when I say:
You’re enough. YOU ARE ENOUGH.

God can use you on your best days and your worst.
He knows where to find you.
He knows what you need.
Just give Him one more rep.

What do people say when they experience your gift?

✨Maybe you're a stylist and they tell you that you make them feel beautiful.

✨Maybe you're a good friend and your tribe agrees that you make people feel seen.

✨Perhaps you're the one with a different perspective and can make people laugh and smile instead of giving up.

Whatever it is that people say you do, that's the very thing you'll be convinced that people don't actually need.

You'll procrastinate.

You'll doubt yourself.

You'll make excuses.

The inner monologue will be loud:

"They can just get somebody else to do it." "I'm not THAT interesting."

"I don't even know how to blah, blah, blah..."

Don't believe the lie.

It's noise.

You were created for a purpose, and the truth is that you're probably already walking in it.

The way God wired you, the way your heart responds to certain things, and the way you derive perspective from your various experiences - all of it makes you special.

Lean into it. The extra details make an experience or service you provide special in a way that no one else can.
..and people need that. People need you.

What am I saying?

I'm saying, "YOU'RE ENOUGH!"

And for all the areas where you feel you're not enough, don't run from them.

Instead, run to God about them. He can handle all of that!

Today, walk boldly in your gifts, and be kinder to yourself.

Hey beauties and gents! THANK YOU so much for all of your birthday wishes! All the messages, texts, and songs really made me smile. I really appreciate it so much! 🥰 it’s been a great day spent with my mommy and the boys! Now hubby’s home and my guys are making dinner! 🤗♥️♥️

What-a-year, y’all!! 😱 It’s been a full year of recovery from a 12 hour brain surgery. I’m doing SOOO much better now. Thank God!

This time last year I could not shower alone. I could only eat with the lights off. A short assisted walk to the mailbox felt like a 5k run. I had enough energy to get showered and dressed. My head was swollen, in pain, and stitched. My husband was my caretaker around the clock for an entire month. My left hand could not open and close without therapy. It was the most difficult journey of my life.

But TODAY, I’m healed! THAT’S the gift. That’s the birthday gift. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

God is great and full of abundant love. I feel so grateful and blessed to be here and I’m looking forward to what God has on the other side of my recovery.

🥳HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOJO!🤗 Y’all - he’s growing up. 👀 I can’t believe my big 9 lb baby is 8 years old today! Time moves so quick which is why I feel like I can’t get enough moments to cherish! We’re so proud of this little guy and so grateful to God for him. He’s full of so much life and brings so much joy to our lives. 🤗 We decided to celebrate him at the beach today since it’s one of his favorite places. Happy birthday, Jojo! Mommy and daddy love you sooooo much! 😍😘😘😘 💙
