When football related matters break the law as in a clear assault, they shouldn’t be handled outside of legal proceedings.

This is called corruption.

Violence and assault has been ongoing for too long in Salone football, referees get attacked, players get attacked, coaches get attacked and nothing happens.

Enough is enough.

The FA haven’t condemned the attack in any way publicly. The silence is a statement in itself.

Tostao will be prosecuted in court for his attack and violence. I have faith justice will be done.

Also I will be reporting this incident to FIFA as the local FA haven’t done anything to condemn this attack. In the US or Europe, if a coach attacks and hits another coach his licence will be revoked and he is banned for life from any football related matters.

FIFA will be very interested to hear that a UK UEFA licenced coach was assaulted during a game by another coach and despite clear evidence, eye witnesses and legal reports filed, the FA has chosen to be silent in the matter. It is disappointing.

Violence shouldn’t be accepted in any sport. All referees, players and technical staff should feel safe in their work.

There should be a extremely hard crackdown on violent behaviour and hard, long term consequences for assaults. Then we will see a change for the better.

Personally I wish to thank my club Luawa FC for showing unwavering support in this matter. Also the Police and thousands of football fans who understand the matter and are condemning this case.

Justice will be served… in court.
