Quail Chick Brooder DIY With Junk Around The House
I planned on a much more elaborate brooder but all of a sudden we had a chick hatch so we had to come up with a quick solution. I've now had 2 sets of chicks in the same brooder and it still works great!

5 Rollercoasters In A MALL?!
I never expected to be this impressed by a shopping mall! You could take a weekend trip to Minneapolis, spend 2 days straight in the mall and never do everything they have to offer. Not just shopping and food, there's a ton of family activities as well.

REPLACING A SUMP PUMP WHILE BASEMENT IS FLOODING
The job was pretty easy with the right planning. Have extra couplers and PVC just in case you make a mistake. In my case I didn't have time to run back to the store to get parts if something went wrong but we lucked out with the sump pump replacement.
Extra Note: Installing a check valve would stop the water from flowing back into the sump after the pump stops prolonging the time between the pump running. I plan to climb back down and install a check valve just above the pump. This should prolong the life of the pump even more.

These weird things are growing in my yard! Seriously, we don’t really see many mushrooms here in North Florida but it’s rained nonstop for 2 weeks. Do other people just have these little mutants growing in their yard like this?

Would this be sports photography? I guess so. I took out the LUMIX S9 for some street photography and we ended up at a skate park. I really enjoy this camera but I think the star of the show was the tiny 32mm body cap lens. I really like the nostalgic images it creates.

Quail Chick Hatching In Incubator
Watch one of our quail chicks hatch in the incubator. This is the 3rd chick we've had from our quail. It's amazing to see new life come into the world. Coturnix Quail take 18 days to hatch and can be laying their own eggs in as soon as 8 weeks.
