Never in a million years would I have thought that I'd be collaborating with a brand like Estēe Lauder, but here we are now. 😌✨

Sharing how I get that glow with Estee Lauder

Estēe Lauder managed to simplify my everyday makeup routine with only a few products, how crazy is that?

I have yet to finalize my thoughts on their Skincare Line but their Double Wear Sheer foundation is truly the star of this reel! The feel of this foundation is nothing short of luxurious and simple—simple because it's such a foolproof foundation, especially for people who just want a light layer of tint as their base. Despite it being a sheer formula, I was pleasantly surprised at how it managed to cover up my hyperpigmentation. I didn't even need to use concealer for the final touches of this look.

It's a no-brainer that if I finish my first bottle of Double Wear Sheer foundation, I would definitely purchase one for myself again.

Lately I've been experimenting with colors I don't usually go for, I find that this keeps my creative process exciting and challenging. Whenever I come up with a look, color combinations usually come to me first before the actual shape and composition of the look so this surely was a challenge to create.

I think I'll play with more earthy tones this time around. Pastel tones will always be my first love but I want to explore other color palettes to spice things up a bit. 😊

Cream blushes are my kryptonite. When I see a cute blush I just have to get it. I guess besides sharing my faves with you, this post is to hold myself accountable because I have a lot of blushes to finish pa pala. So here's my current collection! ☻

𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒉 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒉 Strokes Eye Beauty Studio
— I prefer my blush to be glowy but this is an exception; even if it's on the drier side it doesn't tug and pull when you blend. It's a bit sheer but you can definitely build up the pigment. This has the most exciting shade range in my collection.

𝑽𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒕 𝑽𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒘 *
— My most dewy blush. This is pretty sheer so don't expect a super pak pigment with this. It just gives you that natural flush effect you get after a workout or when you see your crush yiiee lol.

𝑮𝑹𝑾𝑴 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒌 𝑻𝒊𝒏𝒕 * GRWM Cosmetics
— Unpopular opinion but I like the nozzle tip and squeeze tube packaging. I tend to go overboard with blush so this is perfect to get precise control on how much product you squeeze out. This gives a dewy glow minus the slip and slide—it stays put even if you skip on setting powder.

𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝑨𝑨𝑭 * Clocheflame
— One of my longtime faves! This lasts on my face for an ENTIRE day. It gives that sunkissed beach girl vibe, and she's dewy too. ;)

𝑰𝒔𝒔𝒚 & 𝑪𝒐. 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒉 ** Issy & Co. Cosmetics
— I used to not like this but I gave it another go, and I guess some things do deserve a second chance. This is almost identical to the Strokes formula but this is a bit drier to the touch. Again, sheer but buildable.

𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒚𝑴𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑴𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊 𝑷𝒐𝒕 * BeautyMail Cosmetics
— My current go-to pot blush. This is so creamy and plush. It feels luxurious to the touch and the pigment is insane. If you see me out and about, I'm most likely wearing this all over my face.

𝑫𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒍 𝑽𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒕 𝑭𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒉
— I think this is a matik fave in the local beauty scene, everyone raves about this and I get why. It's a velvet to powder blush, and it blends like a dream.

The newest addition to Blk cosmetics ph product family. I got super excited for this launch since I just recently opened my doors to more skincare content this year. I guess the skincare gods heard me, and so here I am sharing my first impressions on this awesome new skincare line—𝘽𝙡𝙠 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙣

𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙪𝙢
〰 This serum is fast-absorbing due to it being on the watery side but still has enough body for you to have enough time to blend into the skin. This one has 10% Niacinamide; so if you have low tolerance for this ingredient, it's best to patch test first before using all over the face. I have super sensitive skin and this hasn't caused a break out so far! Love the glow it gives me skin too.

𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢
〰 I'm usually a gel moisturizer type of girl but this cream moisturizer is an exception. It's almost a hybrid of gel and cream, thus it gives a decent amount of dew to the skin. If you wanna achieve that most coveted "glass skin," definitely get this!

𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣
〰 This is a part of an older collection of BLK but I'm so glad they sent this to me cause this is sunscreen on crack. This is my first time trying a tinted sunscreen, and all I can say is this made such a great first impression to me that I am now considering getting into more tinted sunscreens in the market.

I've spent most of my late teens battling acne and turning to expensive brands because skincare wasn't as accessible here at that time; I'm so happy more local brands are getting into gentle skincare for all skin types. ✨ We stay winning I guess. 😌

Of course I had to join in on the fun, so here's me as a Euphoria High student. 🖤

I tried adding glitter to a black base for the first time and I am O B S E S S E D. I used to avoid glitter like the plague, but I gotta admit I have been missing out all these years. I'll probably redo this look for future night outs with my gal pals. ;)

So, if I actually transfer to Euphoria High, do you think I'll fit right in? 🤔

𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝙁𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙨 | 𝘌𝘺𝘦𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

These are the palettes that I'm reaching for the most lately. It's not a surprise that most of them consist of poppy colors since my makeup style is a mix of everyday and editorial. I'm glad I found my way back to eyeshadows because I rediscovered some gems that made me love makeup the way I do now.

𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙥 Dream St.
—Even as my eyeshadow collection grows, this palette remains to be a staple in my kit. I think Colourpop and Kathleen Lights nailed the color story of this palette—from its gorgeous transition shades to well-thought-out pops of color—it's hard not to love this gem.

𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙨 The Escape Pod
—This is the palette of my dreams and I haven't put this down ever since I got it. Kaleidos' packaging is always a show stopper but the real star is their formula—the mattes are packed with pigment and so easy to blend, and the shimmers have so much depth. I could go on and on about this palette ugh love it 100%.

𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙥 Lilac You A Lot
—Another palette that lives in my head rent free. I find myself reaching for this palette when I'm going for a more pastel and muted look. It's obvious that i am biased towards purple shades but who wouldn't be?

𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙨 Flower Punk
— The latest addition to my collection. I've only played around with this once and I'm already in love with it. Though it's a colorful palette, these tones aren't what I usually go for but I'm so happy I jumped the gun and bought this last minute cause now I am obsessed with this!

𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙥 Malibu Barbie x Hi, Society
— My Frankenstein baby. I had so much fun customizing this palette to my liking. I just thought the OG color story needed some greens and so this girly palette was born. :D

𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙭 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙯 Palette *pr
—A nice quality local palette! I think Vice is one of the local brands that would push for more colorful palettes in the market. I love this palette for easy breezy everyday makeup.

Here's a look inspired by 80s Punk Rock culture. 🖤

One of my core memories from childhood is my family bopping to 80s music every Sunday morning; so anything that involves the 80s is nostalgic to me—of course I had to use Kaleidos Makeup's Flower Punk palette to fit the theme. I am so in love with its color story, I get so inspired when I reach for this because the packaging alone already feeds my creative juices.

It's only the start of 2022 but Kaleidos already climbed its way to my top 3 brands this year. Anyway, brb gonna listen to my 80s playlist just because I started missing my dad while I'm writing this caption. 😢

*𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩* I had so many plans for this month to jumpstart my 2022, but I guess the universe had other plans for me. The positive side to it though is I got my much needed rest, and I cannot wait to share all the stuff I've been cooking up behind the scenes. Most of them are still on the drawing board—still, turning ideas into reality is the best part of my job. ;)

I'm not one to make a definite New Year's resolution list but this year I'm setting realistic, attainable, and healthy goals for both myself and this platform. I have high hopes that I'll grow even more this year and— pardon my french—I am super fvcking stoked. ☻

This might be one of my favorite colors from Pantone to date. Purple hues have always resonated with me throughout my life, and this quote from Pantone themselves made me love this color even more:

We normally go for Reds, Greens, and Golds during the holidays and I still love going the classic route, but this time around I went for a more deep and mauvey autumn color scheme with warm gold accents.

This has got to be one of my favorite looks this year, it makes a statement without being overdone. For my eyes, I tried imitating the shape of fireworks going up into the sky right before they explode into wonderful sparks of light and smoke. As for my lips, dancing glitters to amplify the holiday cheer.

As we wrap up 2021, I made this look as an homage to this year's trends—the graphic eyeshadow which is slowly replacing the water liner craze, the gems popularized by "Euphoria" that still stands their ground on the mainstream makeup scene, and finally the ever classic gloss that will likely remain to stand the test of trends.

I'm wondering what makeup trends will pop up next year. I'm predicting a continuation of "Skinimalism makeup," what do you think?

I wasn't the type to wear colored contact lenses until happened. 👁

I have to admit it took me a while to get the application right the first time (I may or may not have cried at one point), but D'cart was kind enough to give me tips that would help make the process much easier! Now I'm pretty much obsessed with colored lenses, they just elevate every look I make so I cannot live without them anymore lol I can't believe I'm saying that. Honestly would not trust any other brand with my eyeballs cause D'cart lang sakalam. 😆

I prefer more natural styles for my lenses, so my favorites out of the five would be B-gray and T-green. Their T Series is hands down my fave, the style and pigment looks super natural one of my friends even told me I looked like a halfie (stomoyorn?)
