Hey, friends. Well. It's time to record a new episode but we don't really feel like cracking jokes right now. The devastation our broader community of east Tennessee, southwestern Virginia, and western North Carolina has suffered has been difficult to come to terms with. A couple of you out of town listeners wrote in to check on us, and that was amazing. We're okay. Nat and Viv were without power for quite awhile, comparatively with the rest of Bristol. But we're mostly just shocked and horrified for our friends and neighbors in Unicoi and Carter counties, Asheville, Damascus, and too many other towns and hollers to name.
So we're gonna push the podcast out a bit to give everyone time to get through the shock phase of these awful circumstances. We'll be back with a new episode in two weeks.
In the meantime, we'll probably release a brief audio update on the pod stream with info about where you can donate, etc. There is no way of helping that is too small. Take care of each other. ❤️ - Lane
