Should you date if you’re not in love/falling in love with your partner?

Context: My sister asked me if it’s really a relationship if there’s not some kind of love involved. “This isn’t middle school. I don’t want to be with someone who can’t say he loves me after we get together, there is no “like-like” here.” This just made me start thinking and I wanted to know what you guys think?

This made me sob as I thought about Ryan and a few others. My superpower (besides seduction) is the ability to love people who don’t/cant love me back. It’s unfair and I hope to the stars I’m not doing it again with my current boyfriend. I know this is old news by now, but man, how many people could they have actually helped with that money instead of buying commercial time during the Super Bowl?
