🥶 The timing of the Arctic cold front is speeding up, now expected to arrive Sunday, January 14! Make all freeze preps by Saturday.

Temps will plummet Sunday. By Monday morning — MLK Jr Day — it will be in the teens and 20s around San Antonio & the Hill Country. Brutal wind chill for the MLK Jr. march. Even colder Tuesday morning, January 16.

While there’s still a small chance for a light wintry mix Sunday night, the biggest impact will be the cold temperatures. Bring pets inside. Cover or bring in plants. It would be a good idea to drip faucets, insulate any outdoor spigots, and any older, metal pipes. By Wednesday, January 17, we’ll be back in the 40s.
