Other fun news, after our post about the new project The Dope Show:

Our other podcast What's in The Rift will be putting on a live show at the largest tabletop gaming convention in the United States - Gen Con.

While we won't be recording a new season episode there (we'll have wrapped season 2 by that point) but we will be recording the one-shot for our Patreon feed.

It's wild how far this little podcast company has come in just about a year.

Now that October is over we're excited to share just how incredibly excited we are to have built an audience this early. Over 500 hours of watch time on YouTube. Getting picked up by Rusty Quill - the premier audio fiction network - from our first day is wildly fortunate. Over 3,000 downloads on various platforms in one month is fantastic. We're a bunch of no-name, first time podcasters (and a well established one, too), but you have all made us feel incredibly successful.

Everyone who has found something that resonated in our story or just spent some time with us this past month, we appreciate you — and we cannot wait to take you to whole new realities in the coming weeks and months.

For the second time in a month, I'm forced to share some tough news. In the last 24 hours I learned some rather distasteful information regarding one of our players. As this player was involved directly in the creation of our show and its world building, I unfortunately feel that we cannot continue Fractal Observation Institute as originally planned.

We want to thank everyone for their support and feedback. We're incredibly sad to see this thing that we were just getting off the ground have to be put to rest so soon.

However, we cannot abide abuse.

If you or anyone you care about is the subject of intimate partner abuse, please do not remain silent.

Advocating for oneself is one of the most difficult things an abused person can do. Step up when they cannot.
