Breaking: President Tinubu Appoint New CBN Governor.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have approved Dr. Olayemi Michael Cardoso as a new Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This appointment came in compliance with section 8 (1) of the Central Bank of Nigeria Acts, 2007 stated that power only rested in the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, the authority to appoint the Governor and four (4) Deputy Governors for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

According to Media Report the appointment of the new governor of central bank of Nigeria is a term of five (5) years until his confirmation is decided by the house of senate of Nigeria.

Also, President Bola Tinubu, approved the normination of four new Deputy governors of the Central b
Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for a period of five (5) years pending when the National Assembly affirm their confirmation.

The four newly approved Deputy governor of CBN has in attendance:

Mrs Emem Nnana Usoro
Mr Muhammed sani Abdullah Dattijo
Mr. Phillip Ikeazor
Dr. Bala M. Bello

However, President Bola, re-ignite hope that with newly appointed governors he expects all hands to be on desk to successfully carry out à critical reform of the Central Bank of. Nigeria which would facilitate the operation of the bank and boast the confidence of Nigeria and international partners

In the early hour of today witnesses confirmed 63 people killed while dozens sustain injuries in the Johannesburg fire outbreak according to CNN report.

An eye witness account from the near by building said that fire broke and spread out very rapidly, people where seen jumping out try to escape from the inferno.

Breaking: Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sworn in as President.

President - Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday sworn in as a newly elected president of Nigeria.

The inauguration ceremony which took place at the Eagle square in Abuja have in attendance of top political leaders, dignitaries and Citizens across the country to grace the occasion.

Tinubu, a renounced Politician and former governor of Lagos State was declared the winner of the February 2023 Presidential Election by the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The candidate of All Progressive congress polled a total of 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest opponents of the people Democratic party, Atiku Abubakar, who polled a total of 6,985,520 votes in the election while peter Obi the Labour party came third in the election with a total votes of 6,101,533 and Rabiu kwankwaso of the NNFR came fourth with 1,496,687 votes.

What a dragonial Policy

With due Respect, Mr President, your Policy is fantastic, beautiful & amazing but wrongly implemented.

When there is a new Policy from the Government, such policy is usually sent to Media houses to sample Public opinion.

One of the function of Media House is to give the masses what to talk about. In the society. Sir, you would have listen to the people what they have to say concerning your new policy before you implemented it.

If the public reaction is not favorable to what you want achieve in the policy then you and your policy formulators, your advices go back to the drawing table devise means of re -adjusting your policy in a manner that will not affect the citizens. & also, achieve your goal.. you equate the balance.

Now, your poorly implemented policy have claim many lives, while many banks have burnt down. Anarchy has set in & disturb the corporate existent of the country. This is totally unacceptable.

Thousand of PVCs Found in Nnewi Forest.


Barely few days to Presidential Election two hunters on Tuesday whose name have been withheld discovered a bag of permanent voters cards, PVCs in a forest in Nnewi, Anambra State.

According to report, the hunters found the bag containing the PVCs in a bush close to Akamili Village, a community in Nnewi,

Report stated that, the bag of the PVCs was later taken to a radio Station popularly known as Authority FM.

The Station Manager of Authority FM, Charles Ede, who spoked with Daily post said he was off duty when the bags of the PVCs were brought to the station but his staff member who were on duty have informed him about the incident.

Report also stated that, a short video of the PVCs was made in the premises of the radio station in Nnewi which has been trending on social media signifying that most of the PVCs belonged to the residents of Nnewi.

However, a report said that, a radio station staff, have ran a media commentary on the video, calling those who were yet to get their PVC to come to the premises of the radio station to check if their PVC is among the discovered ones.

Federal Road Safety Commission. FRSC on Friday have adviced Nigerian to take safety caution when travelling to their different Villages for end of the year celebration.

Also, advice Nigerian should make sure their Vehicle is in good condition and their vehicle license is intact.

However, he said people should have a good sleep before embarked on any journey to avoid dosing off while driving or Incase of any eventuality

One of the Road Marshall, said often time road accident occured when people do not check if their vehicle is in good order & when they do not have a proper sleep before embarked on any trip.

When travelling, do not allow driver to pack vehicle where there are no Nigerian Police or any other Nigeria security agent for safety purposes and not visit scene where there are too much people.

Nigerian should be more security conscious when on a journey and not hesitate to alert any state security agent on their station number when confronted with men of underground he said.

Men of underground have attacked a mosque in the north-west of Nigeria in Katsina state. kidnapping almost 18 worshippers while injured many others.
