According to Giuseppe Verdi himself it is one of his life time biggest achievements: a retirement home for musicians where they can meet kindred spirits. Casa Verdi regularly holds concerts where they present their skills and young musicians can learn from the more experienced ones.

Following our story from Bulgaria we went to Athens, Greece for DW Euromaxx and met with a very unusual designer. An uncomfortable designer.
This amazing artist's goal is not just to break the forms but also to teach something about the usability of everyday things.

Greek designer Katerina Kampasi transforms everyday objects so that they have no use at all. For example, a watering can that can’t pour out the liquid, or a cooking pot that has two handles on the same side.
