BENUE 2023:
Akahan picks interest/nomination forms,promises massive development.

In a bid to bring massive infrastructural development in Benue and remodel ,a Benue German based son Dr.Dominics Terhemba Akahan and PDP guber contender has said his administration will not just develop the state but will remodel it to compete favourably with her counterparts in Nigeria when eventually voted into power come 2023.

Dr.Akahan said this recently at in
Abuja while interacting with newsmen shortly after obtaining his nomination forms said, he has acquired requisite experience in foreign land that if given the opportunity to steer the affairs of the state,he will bring innovations to develop the state and also build on what the past past leaders in the state have done.

Commenting on the on going selection of consensus candidates in Benue by the stakeholders of PDP, Akahan criticises the process saying "it is cumbersome and capable of breaking PDP" if not properly handled. He added that the beauty of democracy is contest and aspirants should be allowed to fight to finish.

He However appreciated Governor Samuel Ortom for creating an enabling environment for aspirants to contest and show case their popularity to the PDP delegates and masses at the poll.
He threw kudos to all his supporters within and outside Benue for standing solidly behind him especially in the time of consultations assuring that he will fight to logical conclusion saying he is sure that by the grace of God and with the recent unfolding of events in the state, victory awaits him come 2023.

Dr. Dominics Terhemba Akahan welcomes Sankera stakeholders at his resident in makurdi ( Delegations) on Thursday 10th March, 2022.
The front line contender of Governorship of Benue state on the platform of People's Democratic party (PDP) Engr.Dr Dominics Terhemba Akahan hosted the Great people of Sankera delegations which comprise of Katsina ala, Logo and Ukum respectively.
The leaders include Mr Anana Jay former PDP youth leader Benue State, who said he sent for the good people of Sankera because he has seen a bright spot which will bring joy to the heart of all in Benue state . He further said he can't introduce this person but he will handover the people of Sankera to the right person that can introduce this bright spot to them, Dr Alex Iorahungwa( Director General to Dr. Dominics Akahan Gubernatorial organization) who gave a complementary speech to appreciate the people of Sankera for leaving their activities on this short notice to be here in makurdi without wasting time he introduced the Bright spot of Benue state, Engr.Dr. Dominics Terhemba Akahan to the Sankera delegates.

Engr Dr. Dominics Terhemba Akahan who is a global expert in Europe was excited to see and welcome the people on Sankera at his resident, He told them they should feel free to express their selves to him for he is here to hear, learn and change in the right way.

The PDP ward chairperson on their various wards stood up and introduce themselves in their capacity.

• Dr Alex Iorahungwa The DG, also introduced one among the Sankera great child Barr Andrew Wombo. Barrister Wombo spoke on behalf of his self and that of Mr Anana Jay former PDP youth leader Benue State, saying that they can never and will never lead the people of Sankera to the wrong path for they stand by the truth and no matter what they always stood their ground till the end, he further said he didn't stand up one day to support Dr. Dominics Akahan, he explained by saying when he heard that A global person is coming for Governor and this person made history in Germany and he is one among the top black people in that country, he said his son whom also live in Germany to examine him and he son confirmed vividly that truly Dr. Dominics Akahan is a great man and has impact to transform Benue state , he prayed and asked God for a breakthrough and he believes that Dr. Dominics Akahan is the bright spot and the breakthrough of Benue state.

Mr Anana Jay former PDP youth leader Benue State also stood up to hit on each and every word and without fear saying he has never shown the people of Sankera another candidate and he asked his people weather he was lying and they all said No, that he has never shown them anybody he moved on by saying when they asked him about the Governorship Candidate he told them to calm down and lay low But now he has brought them to this place to show the people of Sankera the breakthrough of Benue state, and he said that they should express their selves just like Dr. Dominics Akahan said earlier.
Mr. Shinyi Mzungwega of Mbagber council Ward Logo stood up, greeted everyone and moved on to thank Dr. Dominics Akahan for his Hospitality and he has heard alot about him but he is not concerned about the Glory but when he came in, he saw the True glories about him and he said he is now convince that he is the right man for Benue state. Terseer Kaanapera of Yooyo council Ward stood up and appreciated Dr. Dominics Akahan and he expressed himself with joy and happiness with the pleasant speech the Gubernatorial Aspirant gave and he has seen a great State in him , he said we are ready to follow you and back you up if you are ready to work for the benefit of the poor masses, he said this message is not going to end here it's going to move from here to Sankera and from there to the whole state, Mr. Unee Joseph of mbazum council Ward Ukum, Mr. Wuhega Kave of chair township, Mr. Aligba Linus of Mbater council Ward logo also expressed themselves in various ways and said they have seen more than enough within the little time they have spent with Dr. Dominics Terhemba Akahan for he is a great and bright spot for the people of Sankera and Benue state at large .
Comr. Vihimga Lawrence, son of Sankera from Ukum local government whon was welcomed by Mr. Anana Jay former PDP youth leader Benue State gave an apology on behalf of his brother from Ukum whom were mislead by another and he stated clear that he has not met Dr. Dominics Akahan before aside today being 10th March 2022, he said he has heard alot about him and all they say are only great thing through his father whom he serve and he further said that he only ask God for a great intervention in our State and he believe the breakthrough and bright spot of Benue state has come to deliver Benue state, he expressed further by saying he is ready to move and support Dr. Dominics Terhemba Akahan.
Engr Dr. Dominics Terhemba Akahan gave his appreciation once again and expressed his self to the people of Sankera with words on how he intend to develop and build Benue state, that he never went outside Nigeria just to learn and develop the outside world that his main view was to learn and Build his country and now he is back with the prayer he asked God, for he is willing to work and build Benue but he can't do these all alone without the support of Benue people he can't achieve his dreams of building Benue state, he pleaded and ask the great people of Sankera to support him not just by Party mouth but also with their mind and body, for that will enable him achieve and build Benue state.

Dr Dominics Terhemba Akahan and his Gubernatorial team storms Katsina Ala to declare his intentions to the good people of Sankera as he is set and capable to lead the good people of Benue State after the leadership of Governor Samuel Ortom.

The front line contender for governorship of Benue State on the platform of the People's Democratic Party PDP Engr Dr Dominics Akahan visits the people of Sankera, which comprises of Katsina Ala, Logo and Ukum respectively. The event occurred at The Distinguished Senator Chief Dr Gabriel Torwua Suswam's residence at Katsina Ala. The event started with an opening prayer by Virginia Kpindi The Former chairman of Katsina Ala. Dr Alex Iorahungwa (Director General to Akahan's Gubernatorial organisation) who gave a complementary speech, to appreciate the good people of Sankera for welcoming the team pleasantly and also for taking out their time to attend the event and as well to hear the good news the team have brought to secernate to the good people of Sankera and Benue State at large.
Engr Dr Dominics Akahan who is a global ICT expert in the entire Europe gave a remarkable speech, he was so excited to visit the people of Sankera, which he said, he has alot of friends in Sankera axis and many are now like brothers to him and it won't be fair enough if he doesn't declare his heartfelt intentions to the great people of Sankera, he further said, he is not out to tarnish anyone's image because every contestant out there has his/her own way to make a difference to lead the people of Benue and should Never be looked down no matter what, as he is here to build and transform the State for the benefit of the poor masses in the state.
Chief Gbakan Takuma spoke on behalf of Katsina Ala people, he appreciated the Incoming governor Dr Akahan for coming through to see the good people of Sankera and he is a good candidature to rely on, and his tenure will be full of good infrastructures, knowing that he has based in Germany for 30 years and has build alot over there, and nothing can prevent him from enhancing development in the state if elected as the successor to Gov Ortom.
Moses Chavekpe spoke on behalf of the people of Ukum, he appreciated the Incoming governor for coming out to utter about himself and didn't utter ill of any aspirant out there, but telling them to ensure they make the right choice. He appreciated him alot for his good heart and he declared him more worthy to lead Benue State after the leadership of 'Nyamkyume' Dr Samuel Ortom.
Alfred Iorpav (party chairman Katsina Ala) gave a good and acknowledgeable remark on Dr Akahan, for the support he gave to the son of Andrew Wombo when he was bitterly ill in Germany at the period of Quarantine. Which to him shows that Dr Akahan possesses a sense of humility.

The first civilian governor of Benue State, late Mr Aper Aku saw into the future and left an indelible mark on the sands of time; that is what good and wise choices can offer.
The 2023 plants must be bountiful two years after. Benue must be first and above any parochial interest. This tall order has indeed, reduced the search for true leaders who would drive this dream; opportunists don’t think out of the box, but leaders do with a sense of commitment.
This new thinking requires people of stable character, right temperament, mental preparedness, vision, and the electorates must activate a leadership recruitment model that would see to the emergence of a candidate who would by all means be of the school of leadership. This is a challenge to political parties as they elect their flag bearers. Dr Dominics Akaahan, the German based Business Tycoon is believed to have no known political enemies and his coming on board would heal the wounds, he is expected to be a stabilizing factor, he exemplifies openness, competence, selflessness and humility. GOV ORTOM EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN PDP GUBER ASPIRANTS

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has expressed confidence in the capacity of governorship aspirants in the state on the platform of the People's Democratic Party, PDP to perform when elected.

Governor Ortom gave the remark Monday, January 24th, 2022 at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi during an expanded meeting with the aspirants.

The meeting which was attended by the State working Committee of the PDP, Assembly Members, members of the Executive Council, other appointees of the Governor also had members of the G-14 and G-9.

The Governor explained that given the credentials and antecedents of the guber aspirants, any of them that emerges may even surpass his performance as Governor because they will build on the foundation provided by his administration.

While commending the aspirants for their peaceful consultations, the Governor further encouraged them to jointly go into prayers and come up with a consensus candidate, saying if that fails, the party will go into the process of nominating a candidate.

The Governor also charged all stakeholders across the state to go back to their constituencies and mobilise people for the registration of voters in their domains in order to ensure that the state participate actively in the election of leaders who will rescue and rebuild Nigeria.

State Chairman of the PDP. Sir John Ngbede, Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Christopher Adaji as well as representatives of G-14 and G-9 all expressed optimism that the PDP will wrestle power at the centre in 2023, pointing out that they are poised to offering their best for the victory of the party at all levels.

Chairman of the PDP Governorship Aspirants, Hon Chile Igbawua who appreciated the leadership guide provided by the Governor appealed that the aspirants be further guided on the issue of zoning in order to make discussions among themselves easier.
