Nzemaland MPs Growl at Ghana Gas Company Ltd

The three Members of Parliament for the Nzemaland enclave have growled at authorities of Ghana National Gas Company Ltd over what they termed as misplaced priorities regarding their corporate social responsibilities for the people along the company’s frontline communities.

The MPs include, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Armah Buah, Mp for Ellembelle and former Petroleum Minister, Hon. Kofi Arkoe Nokoe, Mp for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira and Hon. Dorcas Affoe Toffey, Mp for Jomoro Constituencies respectively in a joint press conference held at the Parliament House in Accra reprimanded authorities of the company for their deviation in the corporate social responsibility activities to the frontline communities along the coastal belt of the Western Region.

NSEIN SECONDARY SCHOOL GETS A NEW SCHOOL BUS.

The NPP and Nana Addo's Government through the efforts of Hon Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah ,MCE for Nzema East Municipal have deliver a brand new bus to Nsein secondary schools .

Yesterday, 29th May 2022, Nsein secondary school received a brand new bus from the MCE, Hon Dorcas Elizabeth through the Getfund project at a short ceremony at the forecourt of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly . This bus will help ease transportation problems of the school.

This is in assurance of the Government’s commitment not only to increase access but also to ensure the provision of complementary resources that will ensure the delivery of quality education for our nation.

Senior High education since 2017 has witnessed massive invested in infrastructure including classrooms, dormitories, administration blocks, libraries and canteens.

In 2018, Axim Girls and Gwiraman SHS received a bus each through the efforts of former MP ,Hon Catherine Afeku with the support of Hon Frank Okpenyen, the then MCE as part of the Government's commitment of delivering quality and accessible education to the people of Nzema East Municipal (Evalue Ajomoro Gwira constituency).

Nsein Senior High School getting a new bus through the efforts of Hon Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah will help address the transportation challenge of the school and also add quality to education delivery at Nsein SHS.

Last week, the MCE, Hon Dorcas Amoah, also donated over 2000 dual desks to basic schools within the Nzema East Municipality to help improve classroom environments and management in the schools.

Video- Ellembelle Npp Boils over Constituency Elections

The Constituency elections for the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) wing of the Ellembelle Constituency has turned muddied as some section of aspirants have taken to the cursing spree.

A video intercepted by our news desk suggests that some followers of One Man who is vying to be elected as the constituency Chairman has warned delegates who were sponsored by both Mr. Kwasi Bonzo, a three-time Parliamentary Aspirant and currently District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle and his preferred candidate for the chairmanship slot ’One Man’ to be careful of their dealings.

In the video, the supporter opined that anyone who was sponsored by the two aforementioned members should be mindful of their acts as any of their actions contrary to their initial agreement will lead to a ripple effect as a result of the curses.

Breaking News: Afeku Boy Danasty Assaults Nzema East MCE over Premix Brouhaha!

Nana Takyi Appiah aka Danasty, the notorious premix fuel smuggler who was arrested last week for his active involvement in the nefarious and illegal acts of attempting to smuggle premix fuel of Axim last week, has on Wednesday night openly attacked and threatened to deal with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nzema East Municipal Madam Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah in his own way and allegedly calling her as Hopeless and useless barely hours after their fiasco demonstration against the latter on Wednesday afternoon.

The cause of the verbal attack by Danasty on the MCE which nearly led to his beatings by somw family members of the MCE infront of their family at Lower Axim was as a result of Danasty's open display of his readiness to continue with his smuggling acts upon a hint from Essiama that some of the premix has arrived and nothing will stop him including the MCE whom he termed as hopeless from peddling in his smuggling business.

Mr. Takyi Appiah's continuous display of his uncouth fowl-mouth and fermented utterances
words such as hopeless, incompetent, useless etc, against the persona of Madam Amoah in a drinking spot close to the residence of the MCE iked some loved-ones of the MCE to confront and nearly beat him to pulp right infront of their family house where the MCE resides.

When quizzed of the rationale behind his hot words against the MCE by eyewitnesses and some concerned elders, he flatly snubbed them and fled to his hideout.

Sources close to the MCE, hinted that a formal complaint is yet to be lodged with Axim Divisional Police for the necessary action to be taken against him. “The MCE is very disturbed and unhappy with the barbaric act of this young man and the necessary steps will be taking to resolve this issue”, the source added.

DIGITIZATION, STREET NAMING and PROPERTY LABELS: Lack of harmony or case of loss of memory??

1. I recall a major activity by the Mahama Administration to have all streets named and labelled. There were wonderful names and at least happy my grand father was recognised, and so were traditional leaders and others including Paa Grant, Timothy Ansah (foundation Headmaster of Nkrumsco, Nsein). I am referring to AXIM, in the Western Region of Ghana and recall the local and National Street Naming Committees and Secretariat respectively. Money was surely spent and there will be notable beneficiaries regarding contracts for executing same.
2. Then comes the Digitizer under the present Nana Addo's administration. There are digitization offices all over the assemblies, served in most cases by the NABCO teams, of course under the watch of the appropriate Ministry. Properties, including office and kitchen within school compound (haba!), have been digitized and labelled. Money was definitely spent, and apart from NABCO salaries, there will again be notable beneficiaries with contract to manufacture and/or distribute labels with artificially generated/imposed street names.
3. Until, I listened to citi-tv yesterday, I had thought the imposition of names was peculiar to only Axim, where we have Sunflower, Cactus, Onion and "whatever can be smelled or eaten street"! I begin to wonder the loss of memory from Mahama's initiative or indeed the sense of having generic names all over Ghana. Is it that every initiative of our governments must be considered ad hoc? Obviously, this google imposed names will be remedied at cost, may be from upcoming tax incomes!

Is there a case of financial loss or too much money to splash around? Who cares? Definitely, modern independent Ghana does not deserve those meaningless names..

Jomoro MP Emo Affoe asserts -

I have donated 80 pieces of streetlights and 100 pieces of photocells to the good people of Bonyere.

In addition, I have engaged the services of a qualified electrician in fixing and restoring faulty streetlights and photocells, and also in replacing damaged ones in the township.

The donation was made on my behalf by Hon. Benedict Boadi, Assembly Member for Nawule.

I plan to inspect the ongoing exercise in the coming weeks.

Afeku boy busted for stealing drums of Premix Fuel

There was a state of regretful and shameful situation as the main middle man or liaison for the Afeku’s in their shoddy undercover deals, Nana Takyi Appiah also known as Danasty in one of his normal clandestine routine bide to smuggle premix fuel meant to be distributed to the poor fishermen out of Axim to an unknown location was few days ago arrested by the security operatives of Axim.

Nana Takyi Appiah (Danasty), a modified kleptomaniac and a certified riff-raff who in recent times has become a well-known notorious premix smuggler under the supervision of his bitter and decoupled paymasters was arrested, charged and detained by the security capos for attempting to smuggle some drums of premix fuel meant for the poor fishermen to sell them on exorbitant price to unknown persons to the detriment of the suffering fishermen.

His paymasters who upon hearing the news stormed the Axim police station to demand for his release were turned away by the law enforcement officers as his act was of criminal act, hence his detention.

Nana Takyi Appiah, also a societal and morally misfit has been an ardent supporter of the Afeku’s who will have no mercy on persons who dare to criticize his paymaster by smearing all forms of derogatory words without measuring his thoughts.

Sources close to the Axim Divisional Police Command hinted that he will soon be arranged for the law court for prosecution.

Update on Axim Brewire fire outbreak..

The MCE of Nzema East Hon Dorcas Amoah visited a scene at Brawire in Axim where a group of fishmongers had their ovens and fish catch fire resulting in a loss of huge sums revenue .
It was not known what resulted in the fire outbreak. Residents and the fire fighters personnel helped to q
put out the fire but the building had already been razed to the ground.
Madam Dorcas advised the affected victims and other residents in the area be careful and vigilant when smoking their fish.
She however pledged her support to help them with a new shed to enable them to start their business again.
The NADMO Coordinator, Mr Ernest Amoah was present to access the damage caused.

KOAME AMARCHIE OF AXIM AYA WRITES ON AXIM HOSPITAL SAGA….

UPDATE ON AYA PETITION ON THE CLOSURE OF THE FEMALE AND MATERNITY WARDS OF AXIM GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL ON THE *31ST* OF DECEMBER 2021.
* At 10:00 am, the Executive Committee of Axim Youth Alliance with some of the members presented a petition to the Municipal Chief Executive officer of Nzema-East.
1.In the petition, we demanded for the immediate reopening of the female and maternity wards of the Axim Government hospital that have been locked up because some contract has been signed with some Hollywood guys for more than 5 months.
We also raised the issue of some alleged $500000 that ought to be a benefit to the hospital for equipment and other installation even though nothing substantial can be seen at the hospital.
Outcome of the Petition:
The Hon. MCE received the petition and thanked the Executive Committee and the members of Axim Youth Alliance for the concerned shown about the inconveniences people who patronize the hospital are subjected to. She pledged that instead of the two weeks ultimatum that AYA EC has given, she would ensure that the wards get reopened for use by the hospital within a week, to the applause of all the people present.
We went from the District Assembly to the Hospital and gave the Medical Superintendent's copy of the petition to him. At the hospital, it's the administrator who spoke with us.
The administrator attempted addressing the alleged $500000 and said the hospital has not received any such amount and that if there's any truth about that then the local production manager, one Ike, could be the person who can answer that question. He said the only financial consideration that was agreed between the hospital and the movie guys was GHC72000 of which the hospital had received GHC35000 of it.
Our visit to the wards revealed that there are no machines at the wards as it's been claimed on Nzema FM.
We hope the Hon. MCE will honour her words to us and restore decency at the hospital and stop the missing of adult male and female patients. We say thanks to all who contributed to help us under take this exercise curtail the avoidable mess at the hospital.

Axim Government Hospital Female Ward Shuts Down for ‘No Show’ Movie 🎥 Casting for 5 months..

It is unthinkable for a whole community to be misled by a small group of selfish and greedy individuals who are only interested in what will come to their pockets to the detriment of the suffering masses.

The Axim Government Female Ward was closed down in latter part of August this year under the pretext of creating more jobs, retool the theatre which was refurbished by the traditional leadership of Axim but till date none of the promises have been fulfilled.

It is also alleged that a contract signed by the management of the hospital and the crew team which is being spearheaded by the former Mp and her husband Seth Afeku after the agreement have not paid a dime to the management of the hospital, according to sources from the hospital.

Both opinion and traditional leadership of Axim have been tight lipped as any attempt to make comments about the inhuman acts is tagged as anti development and progress.

The call by the Axim Youth is in order as a lot of the women who visited the ward are mostly turned by health care officers to go back home or chose to sit in a plastic chairs 🪑 if they wish as the female ward is locked 🔒 with the flimsy excuses of making film whiles the innocent women suffer.
