From our first day anchoring together to our last 💛

Dear Jordie, even though I never got a ring, you will forever by my first work husband.
Our vows clearly stated that if one of our contracts finished before the others, we’d extend it so that they’d be up at the same time.

We also vowed that if we ever did choose to leave, that we’d tell the new news station that we were a package deal meaning you want one of us!? — You gotta take both of us!

But alas, you clearly didn’t extend…and I have yet to see an offer from Utah for me so, I guess this is it….you’re actually divorcing me. Rude.

Let it be known though that I still haven't signed any divorce papers yet, so if I find out that you're matching your tie with another girl on air out there. I will be booking a flight to Utah and will cause a scene in the newsroom. Kidding! ….or am I? 👀

After over 3 years of sitting next to you every morning. I’ll miss a lot—like looking over and seeing you sweating while I shiver.

I’ll miss having those days where we just can’t seem to get words right or being faced with our favorite trip up word- “Spotted Lanternfly” which always ends up coming out as “Spartered Lerterfler.” Smh!!😂😂

I’ll miss hearing you play the taps, saying “AND SOOOOO” and “SABTUUURRRRR!”

I’ll miss turning everything into a song with you, with me adding in fun runs that you simply can’t ever match. (It’s okay not all of us were blessed with a Mariah Carey voice 😌)

I’ll miss quizzing you on movies even though you swore I only ever tested you on the same 3. Not true 😉

I’ll miss sneaking smiley faces into your noon show, calling you a starbs boy as well as waiting for each other to go to staff meetings together.

Jordan thank you for being so fun and funny to work with, for all our weekly breakfasts,
and for always having my back… or should I say foot whenever my teleprompter pedal froze.

Got invited to read to my fave kiddos at at Osceola Mills Elementary School for Read Across America Week ☺️. Not only did they raise reading awareness this week, but also over $4000. Principal Mason tells me it will go to their local library (which is run entirely by volunteers!) annddd their positive behavior program which provides students with awards and activities to participate in. ❤️

So you know how you have strictly work friends? —Ya know the ones that you only talk work with? Yea that’s far from me and Christy’s relationship. From being show twins (which btw I started Selling OC and am hooked!!) to being my go-to for guy advice (you literally go full FBI for me finding everything on the dude from when they lost their first tooth to if they’ve ever broken a bone hahaha) —I’m going to miss our talks the most. 💕Especially the special girl time we always got during sports.
Thank you also for always supporting me. Whenever I have a story that I’m putting together, you always tell me how you can’t wait to see it, and then the day it airs you stand there watching the entire thing even if it’s like 6 minutes long when you could be doing other things🤍. Thank you also for being down for anything and everything, whether it was my Cooking in the Kitchen segments for my Saturday show (RIP! Lol) to learning TikTok dances with me, you’ve truly turned into one of my bestest friends. I mean after all…I was your maid of honor 😉. (Can you tell that will forever be a flex for me? Haha). So get ready to be in mine as well…even if that is like 15 years from now.🙃 In the meantiimmeeee, I can’t wait for our Taco Bell date, and whenever the next rom-com hits theaters, best believe we’re going!
