As I’m writing this it brings me back to the day, waiting for you to be born.

14 years ago I was blessed and laid eyes on the prettiest little girl I’ve ever seen.

To me you still are my baby I don’t care how old you get 😂 and you still can’t call me Kristine 😭😭.

Happy 14th birthday to my best girl. Kayla I’m so proud of you and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you.

7 years down and a life time to go!

2024 was already trying to test me 🙃.

The past 9 days have been stressful.

Little baby got really sick and luckily this time we didn’t have to stay in the hospital but it was pretty hard to watch him go through this at home.

I feel like he can’t catch a break. The toll this took on my mental health was on another level.

Friday he started acting like his normal self 🤪 which was breath of fresh air.

This kid is so incredibly strong and I pray this is the last time we go through this!!

P.S I’m putting him in bubble this holiday season because I’m not going back to the hospital 😂.

The thing I’m most proud of in my life is being your mom. Each of you have taught me things about myself I wouldn’t haven’t figured out. Each of you has given me strength everyday to get up and take on the world. Being a mom isn’t easy most days BUT it is very rewarding. You 3 are my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The past two days have been incredible!

This birthday was really special! I got the chance to have a day all to myself and it was beyond amazing ! Then to end it all with a surprise party was truly special.

This day never gets easier.

Today marks 3 years my girl crossed over to the rainbow bridge.

3 years of missing you.

I think about you every single day. I think about what life would be like with you still here. I know for a fact you would’ve been so protective over Ayden and Silas. Aamauri would’ve become your best friend just like you were mine.

Losing you is still one of the hardest things I have to deal with. You’ve left such an impact on my life and I thank you for that. You taught me so many things and the greatest one was love.

I miss you Abby💕💕. Until we meet again.

September is NICU Awareness month. ⁣

As a fellow NICU mom I can say this was one of the hardest times I’ve experienced in my life . I’m very grateful to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses of NYU who really helped us survive what we went through. ⁣
⁣
•Silas spent 37 days total in the NICU⁣
⁣
•Born at 32 weeks 3 days via Emergency C section ⁣
⁣
•Birth weight was 2lbs 5oz⁣
⁣
•Diagnosis , IGUR, Severe Preeclampsia, Gestational Diabetes⁣
⁣
His main goal during his stay was to feed and grow which he successfully did over those 37 days. There were many times when we thought he’d be home sooner but it all worked out in the end.⁣
⁣
To all my fellow NICU moms I salute you. This journey is never easy.
