Some great light reading recommendations! 📚

These two books are definitely some of my favourite books about the music industry. But don't be mistaken! If you are looking for advice on how to negotiate a record deal, these books are not it. However, if you'd like to find out what music industry was really like, these books are the ones to dive into!

Black Vinyl, White Powder by Simon Napier-Bell:
"The most authoritative, intelligent, diligently researched and unpretentious analysis of the British pop scene yet written"

Big Life by Jazz Summers:
"Enter the world of Jazz Summers, the music industry's most notorious manager. Form a band. Smoke dope in Malacca. Go to meetings in the coke-sprinkled boardrooms of eighties Los Angeles.
