THE CURSED KALI कलीः
After a day of Sa:paru Ghintangisi, the character rides home on a scooter, a single stick from the dance placed in front. Suddenly, the stick slips off and falls to the ground. The character pulls over to pick it up, only to realize one of her Kali कली is missing. As she searches, she spots a similar कली on the ground. Without thinking, she slips it on.Turning back to retrieve the stick, she freezes—both the stick and her scooter are gone. Shocked, the character finds herself holding a stick she never picked up. She drops it in fear. Then, something dark and twisted takes hold of her. An overwhelming, unnatural obsession with her jewelry consumes her, her thoughts no longer her own. She begins to move erratically, her body taken over by an unseen force.In a trance, the character starts dancing wildly, her movements erratic and unhinged, as if puppeteered by the spirit that now possesses her. She smiles maniacally, her face contorting in ways that aren’t her own, smearing her makeup as she claws at her face. The once joyous expression turns sinister, her eyes wide with a crazed intensity. The character stumbles toward a near located Indrayeni temple, her feet dragging her up the steps with an eerie determination. She climbs the stairs in complete trans. When she finally opens her eyes, her jewelry is gone, scattered across the temple steps as if they are forcibly removed. (The indrayeni temple also called lutimaru ajima translating as goddess witjout jwellary).The red slippers she hadn’t noticed before lie near the कली Realizing she’s been possessed by the spirit of the कली’s owner, the character panics, her mind finally her own again. She runs in terror, leaving everything behind. The cursed कली remains, waiting for its next victim.
