Happy Friday! Still in disbelief that tomorrow is October; where did September go???

Since Ryan is out of town, I’m planning on decorating for Fall even though it still feels like summer, but having boxes just lying around is giving me anxiety! It’s still a little too hot to be wearing leggings outside but inside I’m all about the comfy life and this set gives me the support and sucks me in where I need it!

These two are so excited for their new wheels and matching helmets from ! Cycle Kids Bikes are ultra lightweight making learning to ride fun and easy! Was it even summer if you didn’t go on a road trip?

I partnered with to test drive their 2022 Chevrolet Equinox RS and it was the perfect family car for our road trip to Monterey a couple weekends ago. This mid-size SUV has plenty of leg room and had enough cargo space for all our bags, double stroller, and Ryan’s travel golf bag! We especially liked the wireless charging pad and Apple CarPlay so we could listen to all our favorite tunes!

With so many amazing features and the Chevy Safety Assist we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire ride.

One chore I actually don’t mind is vacuuming. It’s extra satisfying when you get in the couch cushions and hear all the Cheerios or legos getting sucked up! If you’re like me, you probably have one or two dishes that you make weekly. Butter garlic lemon pasta with parmesan is my go-to. It’s a low effort meal with a high rate of satisfaction!
Both the kids devour it, so I call it a success! This recipe is so simple, takes less than 30 minutes and you probably already have the ingredients on hand. You have to give this one a try!

Recipe:
Spaghetti noodles
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves (more if you love garlic!)
1 lemon (juice + zest)
2-3 tbsp chopped parsley
1/4 cup shredded parmesan

Boil the noodles in your GoodCook casserole pan. Drain. Reserve a cup of pasta water. In your 10” fry pan, sauté the garlic, butter, lemon zest/juice, parmesan, and parsley. Add pasta water and mix in the noodles.
Enjoy!

I love anytime meals and this classic twist to the egg salad sandwich is my favorite! I made a no-mayo version with my favorite Whole Grain 15 Grain Bread that I picked up from .

This is a simple 5 minute recipe that anyone can make that’s easy and delicious!

Ingredients:
Pepperidge Farm Whole Grain 15 Grain Bread
6 hard boiled eggs, peeled, chopped
1 avocado, chopped
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tsp of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Handful of arugula
*can add a dash of paprika to give a little kick

Mix all the ingredients together except the eggs. Then fold in the eggs. Top your slices of Pepperidge Farm 15 Grain Bread with the mixture, cut, and enjoy!

Happy Easter! 🐰

A very non traditional Easter this year as we celebrated in the Caymans. We didn’t have an egg hunt, no egg coloring, no over consumerism of candy that I’ll end up tossing, didn’t take bunny pictures, no special meals, I didn’t decorate, and the kids still felt loved. Social media can be so intimidating so however you spent your Easter, hope it was filled with love!
