Adkins puts the pedal through its paces, pulling out a huge variety of ambient yet energetic sonic landscapes. The composition hits a variety of "landmarks" and has a continual sense of development especially once the 2nd track gets going at the 2 minute mark or so. It's amazing that this is 100% improvised. We like Sunbunny for its minimalist approach to planning and recording. All tracks are unplanned, single improvised takes. Adkins' feet are often flying as fast as his fingers controlling his impressive pedalboard setup that enables a traditional trio to often sound more like a guitar orchestra.
