Samiullah is the owner of Medina Restaurant in Al-Asif Square. Samiullah said that his forefathers had migrated from Afghanistan to Pakistan, and he was born in Pakistan. This restaurant has been here for about 30 years, and they have been working on it for almost 10 years. The special thing about this food street is that you can’t find traditional spicy food here. The popular dishes of Al- Asif include Namkeen Rosh, Afghani Boti and Kabuli Pilao. Samiullah said that people come from Islamabad, Hyderabad, Lahore and many other cities to eat this special and delicious food.

Malai khaja is prepared with Refined wheat flour with sugar which is made into layers dough, with dry fruits and lightly fried in oil. It was originated from Agra, India.

Karachi's first carbon free street known as "Denso Hall Rahguzar"
Heritage Foundation of Pakistan made it possible to preserve the heritage amongst old city area in Karachi. By restoring 12 historical buildings located at Denso Hall, Karachi.
A significant aspect of this project was the involving of beggars from Makli. Majority of womens who were beggars earned a healthy living by production of terracotta pavers(floor tiles).

Jilani Nimko & Sweets , Opposite Lady Dufferin Hospital, is being run by Ghulam Sarwar, who have been selling this Gujarati Snack for 35 years. Local residents consume Jalebi Phapra as a snack everyday.

Marina Syed, who is running a bike learning platform named RowdyRiders in F.B Area, Karachi. She is the only daughter among four siblings, despite that she is doing wonders. Marina is courageous and she is giving hope to many depleted girls of Karachi who are traveling on public transport and afraid of riding a bike.
