This wedding dress was worn by Kate's mom who married a war-time pilot in 1945, but the gown started its life as the parachute that saved his life. When George came home alive and with silk in short supply, his bride-to-be began a labor of love turning his battered parachute into a beautiful gown.
Now it's on display at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

BABY YODA FIGHTS FIRES
Thanks to one boy with a heart of gold, a team of firefighters have a new member, with Jedi powers. After seeing the devastation, 5yo Carver, and his grandma decided to deliver a toy version of baby Yoda to the Oregon fire department with a note that read: "Here is a friend for you in case you get lonely."
Now, baby Yoda remains on the frontlines, joining first responders.

TATTOOED TEACHER REASSIGNED
An elementary school teacher in Paris is speaking out after he claims he lost his job due to his physical appearance. He's covered from head to toe is tattoos, even his eyes are tattooed black. Reuters reports he was sad to learn he would no longer be teaching kindergarten after some parents complained he scared their kids. The report adds that they moved him to a class with older kids. The supply teacher hopes his appearance will inspire students to be more accepting and tolerant of others.
