We’re a little late posting this, but here’s a BTS shot from a night shoot a few weeks ago on the feature film - The Return. I was DP on this project for writer/director Erika Santos, and this setup was deep in the woods on a cold, dark night.

Night shoots are always challenging, but there’s something rewarding about shaping light when you’re surrounded by nothing but darkness. Grateful for the opportunity to help bring this story to life.

We’re proud to announce Emma Rose Raso joins the cast of This Side of Broken as Ellie — a spirited and heartfelt young character whose presence brings depth and hope to the story.

Making her feature film debut, Emma impressed us with her natural emotion and quiet strength on screen — qualities that capture the heart of Ellie perfectly.

Emma’s mom and manager,
, also appears in the film as Ms. Elena, adding a special real-life connection to the cast.

Earlier this year I had the chance to collaborate with Manoj Narula in Charlotte, NC on a feature film as camera operator.

What I love most about this work is the collaboration — filmmaking is never about one person, it’s about a team coming together to bring a story to life. Always grateful for the people I get to create with along the way. 🎬✨

🎬 That’s a wrap on The Silent Thread!

Filmed in New Bern, NC — a town we’ve been fortunate to call home twice and still hold close to our hearts. This project came together through the dedication of our cast, crew, and even River the scene-stealing shih tzu 🐾. Bradley Moore — who plays our UPS driver — isn’t pictured here, but he’s very much part of the family and will be featured in tonight’s behind-the-scenes video.

Independent filmmaking is all about community and collaboration. We’re proud to have created this story with such a talented team, and we’re excited to take it into post-production and on to festivals.
