Usually we feel love as an emotion, others would feel it and we don't. Jesus said love one another. But how do we command an emotion?

Maybe love is not an emotion, maybe it's a decision. It's not a question whether we feel it, it's a question whether we decide to do it. So we have to learn a decision that we should act in a way that is loving towards someone and eventually our emotions will catch up with our obedience. That is how we put Peter's words into action. Let's love someone that is getting on our nerves.

Cast your burden onto God daily. Don’t hold on to the weight and guilt of the past. Don’t be entangled by the stain of the past. Cast every burden, every weight, every worry to God and He will sustain you. Your burdens are not God. God is bigger than your problem.

He Is My Strength ✨

Know that God is your Strength. He is your Comforter. God is your Strong Foundation. He will lead you and guide you through every season of life. There’s nothing wrong with having mentors, wise counselors and people you look up to. However, when you begin to worship people or things they begin to become gods. There is a difference between receiving advice from wise counsel versus worshipping man’s opinion. Seek God and pursue His Counsel — He will lead you in the right direction.

People, platforms and promises have their proper place, but they are not God. They cannot satisfy you like God can. No one or no thing is to block or stand in the way of your worship to God. Let God be your fortress. Let God be your Strength in every area of your life.

Surrender to God and let Him be your Strength within the walls of your marriage, in your business, in your ministry and in your family. Let God reign in every area of your life. Let His Word serve as your strong foundation in every life choice. He is your Strength and your guide. Choose not to serve any other idol.

According to Strong’s Concordance the Hebrew word for “Refuge” is, ‘machaceh’ (H4268) which means, “Shelter from rain or storm”, it also means, “Shelter from danger”. God is your shelter. He is your safe place. God will guard you from danger seen and unseen. He is your Protector and He will keep you from the storms of life.

What does light do? It eliminates all forms of darkness. As Christians, we carry light – Christ – and that light will help eliminate darkness from the lives of many. When we are in Christ, we cannot be stopped. The light cannot be put out. Shine your light; the world needs it!

PRAYER:
Dear God, I pray that I will always be a pointer to you in every situation I find myself in. May this light that you have placed in me shine brightly and may it help more and more people come to you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
