The problem with motivational videos...
Motivational videos are great. But that couple of hours of motivation, is it enough to carry you throught the day-to-day of everyday life?
The topics in the videos are great as eye openers. But I've found myself in the past not doing anything with it.
The application of the information was far from sexy. And applying it everyday was challenging. Sometimes you're pumped up, sometimes you can barely get out of bed. But being able to push through those times is what moves the needle forward.

Your negative mindset was installed onto you when you were a defenseless child by loving people who meant good things for you. They did what they could with what they have. Now that you're aware of how your negative mind was shaped, it's time to reprogram it. Keep everything good, change everything bad and pay it forward.
Thanks for the 5.2k plays! Hope you guys got something out of the episodes.
More episodes to come soon!
You came into this world as a blank slate. Who you are now and how you think is the product of the thoughts, concepts, and beliefs people sewn into you as you grew up.
Once you become aware of this, you can then extract yourself from your thoughts and take a thirty thousand foot view of yourself and think about the things that run through your mind often that don't really serve the type of person you want to become or the type of life you want to have.
We often talk about the importance of learning but unlearning is just as essential. It's almost impossible to consume and digest the right information if there are limiting beliefs planted inside your head that refuses to accept the information.
It's tough to get out of a deep hole of negative thinking. Especially when you lacked role models that could've at least showed you how to live life a little bit better. Nobody is to blame though. The people you looked up to only taught you what they know and they meant well.
The good thing is, when you find out what lead to you being a negative thinker in the first place, things start to change, and I promise you it's for the better.

Ano ba talaga ang pagiging "Woke" or "Gising"?

Values are important, but it's more important to NOT MISTAKE your political knowledge with your own personal values.
YOU ONLY KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW.
By cancelling other people just because they disagree with you, you're showing that you're incapable of seeing outside of your own perspective.
Learning is never ending and IT'S HEALTHY to challenge your beliefs and what you know.
You strengthen your belief or find out what could be better. Either way, it's a WIN.
Thanks Erica for getting on the podcast! I appreciate your maturity and authenticity!

Self-awareness allows you to minimize regret & quiet down your subconscious mind.
If you grew up around people that are always driven by emotion and they lash out & just react, chances are that will rub off on you, and you might not even be aware of it.
Self-awareness is your greatest weapon against your own ego, self-doubt, & insecurities.

This is easy to say but hard to do. But if you think about it, if you talked to the people you loved the same way you talk and judge yourself for your mistakes, you'd have no friends nor family.
You only did what you can with what you knew. That's how your past is. Now that you've gained experience and know better, you can do better.
Acknowledge what you did, but don't beat yourself up with it. Set a goal for your future, learn from the past, focus on TODAY.

In other words, how you think, how you act, how you handle yourself, will be passed on to everyone that saw you as an example & role model.
The ones that think logically are usually the ones that don't speak up. Your voice matters. Speak Up.
Para magkaroon ng usapan towards a solution that works para sa lahat kesa nagbabangayan lang kung sino ang tama at mali.

Chase passion or opportunity? If you were able to start your career with something you're very passionate about, that's great! PERO dapat ba passion mo lagi ang work mo or dapat mas iprioritize mo ang opportunity even though hindi ka passionate dito?
In this episode, we talk about both sides of the same coin which is chasing passion or opportunity with the intention of understanding why there are people who are only stuck with what they know and never pursue their passion.

Having conversations with people that have different perspective really opened up my mind further.
It also helps with knowing thyself better because I learned to formulate my own opinions base on my own values while taking other people's values into consideration.
I think some people mistake that talking to other people with different values will decay theirs but in reality, it strengthens it. Your beliefs become stagnant and complacent if it doesn't get challenged.
There's a HUGE difference with talking to Trolls that just disagree with you, though, versus talking to people that have a different point of view but has the desire to also see other people's point of view.
I hope that these conversations also help you the some way they've been helping me.
I appreciate all the support!

Was listening to a podcast and the guest was a psychiatrist that specializes in trauma.
There are many forms of trauma according to him. And he also stated that trauma can range from you weren't hugged enough by your parents or you weren't told "i love you" all the way up to physical abuse or PTSD.
Turns out no matter what you've been through, MAJOR OR MINOR, it MATTERS. It doesn't mean we have to make a big deal out of minor things but that's the thing, deal with it before it turns into something big!
It's like we're a spectrum of colors. Our experiences may be different shades of the same color, but in the end, we all matter.
Here's to hoping that you heal from old wounds that will finally allow you to be who you want to be and be happy.
Happy new year! 🎉

"SANAOL" "MINDSET BA MINDSET" Nagjojoke ka lang ba talaga or kadalasan nadidictate or naiinfluence ng mga "jokes" na to yung ginagawa mo? For so many years I've seen this manifest in my life and I had to break free from it. Nakailang try na ako mag lose ng weight noon pero I keep going back to the same old habits. It wasn't until I realized na wala talaga akong narrative para sa sarili ko. Kung ano ba talaga gusto ko para sakin. Laging nakikisakay lang sa trip ng iba at mag-fit in. I'm so grateful na I'm now able to run or lift weights regardless kung may kasama ako or wala, umaga man or gabi. Dahil kilala ko na sarili ko. I have a narrative for myself. 📢 Full episode 56 on Spotify #sanaol #sanaall #mindsetbamindset #filipinopodcaster #filipinopodcast #pinoypodcast
"TAGA ALOK NG LIFE INSURANCE" ito ang naging label ko sa mga financial advisors dahil sa personal experience ko sakanila. I wanted to challenge this belief of mine and what better way to do it than have someone who got scammed in 2009 and lost PHP100,000 when he was only 19 YEARS OLD! I can't imagine how I would've handled that as a teenager! Instead of breaking down and being depressed, David Angway's mindset at a young age helped him not only survive the tragedy but also thrive. He is now a financial advisor, pocaster, and keynote speaker whose mission is to help individuals set and achieve their long-term financial goals by providing valuable and lifelong financial advice. This episode has really shifted my view on financial advisors. Listen to find out why! Note: The goal of this is for you (assuming you're unhappy with your physique) to face your true self and do something about it. Because if you're genuinely unhappy with how you see yourself, it doesn't matter how many people tell you that how you look is okay. What matters is what YOU think about YOU and how YOU see YOURSELF. #pain #pleasure #weightloss #mindset #pinoypodcasts
