There can’t possibly be anything more beautiful than a seaside sunset at the beach!!
This is where I was born and raised. When I talk about the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea, I mean this area which is Alexandria, Egypt - the Bride of the Mediterranean! Alexandria is the largest city on the Mediterranean, the fourth-largest city in the Arab world, and the ninth-largest urban area in Africa as well as the 79th largest urban area by population on Earth. The city extends about 40 km (25 mi) at the northern coast of Egypt along the Mediterranean Sea.
The area portrayed in this picture is called Cleopatra and it’s located on the Alexandrian Cornish. The area is named after Queen Cleopatra, Queen of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt and it’s last active ruler. Let’s go where the sun kisses the horizon of the sea… 🌊 🌅 ❤️✈️🗺✈️🌍

From Charlotte to New York, New York to Cairo, Cairo to Alexandria, then Alexandria to Cairo, Cairo to Doha, Doha to New York, New York to Washington DC, and finally DC to Charlotte! It’s been a whirlwind of a trip and I loved every minute of it. New York was amazing!! But the real impact was the last minute decision to take a trip back home for a quick visit. I’ve been in the United States for a little over 2 years and I was overwhelmed by the differences in our cultures and history. I was able to see the sights, sounds, and smells of my beloved Alexandria through a tourist’s eyes for the first time. I was able to appreciate the culture of the people from a different perspective. It humbled me and made me grateful of my upbringing and proud of what I’ve accomplished in such a short period of time. I tried to capture as much as I could during this short trip to share, so stay tuned for more pics to come! 🏰🏝⛰🗽🗺🌍✈️✌🏽❤️
