I can make design worksheets, projects, videos, presentations or activities my kids need. ✏️ Work on finding a groove or “flow”, not a set schedule, especially if you have little ones in the mix 😅 ✏️ Attend enrichment, outsource to Outschool, go to field trips and join co-ops!✏️ Incorporate Bible study through stories and crafts 📚 ⚠️ Don’t forget subjects like art, science and social studies or history - these are just as important and are a great way to practice writing, reading and math outside of their regular curriculum ✏️ Include as many hands-on learning opportunities as you can, make it fun! ✏️ Use the real world 🌎 as your learning tool - let them go shopping with cash at the grocery store to buy ingredients for making a recipe with a mathematics focus, or grow the ingredients right in your backyard and turn it into a science project that focuses on NGSS standards. ✏️ Make movement breaks in between instructional time a regular part of your day! Fake food isn’t REAL food 👎🏻 💔 Addictive ingredients cause kids to overeat all the “bad” stuff 👀 Because this type of eating is so normal, kids don’t know the difference. Kids drink Gatorade @ soccer games, consume food dyes @ birthday parties, and snack on titanium dioxide and processed junk for lunch 🤢 My goal is to steer my kids in the right direction while teaching them about nutrient dense foods.
