Those who own a business, why are you not on tik tok shop?
I (as a creator) got a "free sample" of this spin mop from a brand on tik tok. In return, I had to create a video for them. I created the video in March, and started making sales in April.
Since April I have made the company almost $14,000 because they sent me the 1 product!!! I have also made over $3,000 in commission, from this one product.

I get a lot of people who reach out who have a "personal brand" and want to work with companies and wonder why their page isn't growing. When I go to their page, it's a guy who enjoys hunting and fishing...but he looks like every other guy on social media who enjoys hunting and fishing.
I asked a guy yesterday, would you follow yourself? He responded yes. I then asked him what makes him stand out from all of the other guys who love to hunt and fish.
I think that stuck out to him. You need to figure out a way to make yourself stand out if you're in a "niche" that many others are in too. Figure out a reason why someone would want to follow you along with all of the other guys they follow too.
Whatās your number 1 struggle with social media either for your own page or for your business?
In the month of June, one of my clients gained almost 13k followers and reached 8.8 million people šš³
Do I promise months like this to my clients? No. Do I tell them Iāll get them x amount of new followers each month? No Do I promise them Iāll keep up with the changing algorithms, and if something isnāt working Iāll change it?! Absolutely!!
Sometimes it takes a month or two to figure out what your followers like/donāt like. But I can promise you, I thrive on those green up arrows!

In 26 days one of my clients gained over 10k followers š³š¤©š Does this happen every month? Absolutely not! Do I promise to my clients youāll get numbers like these? Absolutely not.
Do I promise that Iāll continue to keep up with the algorithm changes, and that Iāll come up with a game plan to help their social media grow? Absolutely!!
Some months are better than others, but this month absolutely kicked some butt!!

-How to grow your page
1. Be genuine- people can tell if youāre not
2. Post things that people want to see. For example, on my Britt Jill Fitness page I donāt post anything that has to do with hunting, because the people on that page donāt want to see that, they want to see fitness related content.
3. Ask yourself- What can people learn from your page/ Why would people want to keep following you? I learned this from and and itās SO true! . . -How to get āSponsoredā / āfield/prostaffā
1. Prove to the company, that youāre interested in, that you will be an asset to the team- itās give and take not you get free stuff.
2. Start using the products and believing in them before reaching out and sending a message to that company
3. Donāt send a message saying āhi you should sponsor meā or āyou should send me stuff and Iāll promote it for youā.........youād be surprised how often I see this š¤¦š»āāļø- Show the company what youāve done- either with the products you already use from them or that you can take good quality of pictures and will be able to create good content. If you have something to prove to that company that youāll be a good add on to the team, theyāll take the time to talk to you too (if they need more field/pro staff)
4. If a company reaches out to you-thatās a great sign! It means they see that you will be a good representation of their company. Try out their product, if you believe in it and want to tell people about it- do it! .
I get these questions a lot from multiple people so I figured Iād do a post about it! Happy Thursday and hopefully this helped! Thereās many more tips I have and will post some randomly again. These 2 are my 2 most frequently asked questions so wanted to touch base on them first!

Iām a firm believer that networking can get you into places a degree never will.
Especially because I have my bachelors degree in exercise science and worked in cardiac rehab after college. I now own a social media marketing agency, without having a marketing degree.
Iām also a firm believer that hard work and determination will get you into places a degree never will too!
After I got turned down by over 100 different companies and brands back in 2016 to do their social media I finally got an opportunity with a camouflage company and ran their social media for a year, in return for some camo! I grew their instagram from 16k-66k! This was back when outsourcing social media was really a thing.

I spoke in front of a CEO high school class earlier this week. Public speaking isnāt something I look forward to, but after talking with them I realized when I speak about something I am interested in and good at, itās SO easy! I gave tips on how to market their business and shared about being turned down by over 100 brands when I first started out. I explained how I got a call on October 10, 2022 from my full time
job and they told me it was my last day due to workforce reduction after I had worked there for 4+ years.
I feel by sharing my struggles shows that you WILL have struggles being an entrepreneur or in the work force, BUT thatās what makes you work harder.
Hereās some feedback I got:
āThe best part for me was when Brittany started talking to us. If I could show you my notes paper I would. I have so many ideas for my own personal pages and my business page. She did say āyour business will fail if you don't make enough moneyā and that is something that I have struggled with throughout my entire business. Iāve decided that I am going to invest in a tripod type thing and record time lapse videos of me putting things together or dying flowers. Also how cool would it be to start an instagram page for my dog that would be hilarious.ā

Having 2 weeks of paid time off. I feel like Iāve finally made it. As Iām taking Kip for a walk I feel like I can breathā¦Literally and figuratively. All Iāve ever wanted was to feel like I can post if Iām not āworkingā and not get in trouble for it. Or work my butt off and take a Friday off if needed. Iām feeling extra blessed with how far Britt Jill Marketing has come. I got to be a part of an amazing event yesterday with Hunter Nation. Monday we hosted an event up in Wisconsin where we had Donald Trump Jr., Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild Benghazi hero Mark Geist, Keith Mark, Rock Bordelon, Shemane Nugent US Representatives Tom Tiffany and Jim Jordan, and many others!
As a creator, I LOVE tik tok shop. I think as a business, Iād love it more. Think of how many sales youāre missing out on.
Do you feel stuck on your own personal brand on social media? Do you wonder why you arenāt growing? Take a look at your content. Would you follow yourself?
