Covid-19: Rwanda opens bars, allows gatherings for vaccinated people
Rwanda has eased Covid-19 restrictions allowing bars to reopen for the first time since March last year after a significant drop in new infections.
The country has also accelerated Covid-19 inoculations.
The new guidelines were issued on Wednesday after a cabinet meeting presided over by President Paul Kagame.
Rwanda will also now allow public gatherings, concerts, festivals and exhibitions to continue but only vaccinated and tested people will be allowed to attend.
The curfew has also been adjusted from 10pm-4am to 11pm-4am, allowing businesses to remain open until 10pm in Kigali.
The new measures will come into effect on September 23 until October 13.
Rwanda has seen a drop in Covid-19 infections since late August. The infection rate has not exceeded 5 percent for the last three weeks.

I CAN NEVER GO BACK TO KATS-FILLE
Singer Fille Mutoni has described rumors that she still shares a bed with Mc Kats as baseless.
In an interview, Fille said she will never make the mistake to date Mc Kats again.
A few days ago, a picture of Mc Kats was posted on Fille’s page, sparking rumors that the two are back together.
Fille has, however, distanced herself from the page saying that she has no page.
It is also alleged that the ‘fake’ Fille account is run by Mc Kats.

President Museveni is bitter with perpetrators in the NRM Party like Hon. Mwesigwa Rukutana.
Doctors at Mbarara regional referral hospital are trying to remove a bullet from Dan Rweiburungi's head as arrangements to transfer him to Nakasero Hospital tomorrow continue.
Dan Rweibirungi was allegedly shot by Rukutana earlier today in a bitter encounter, following Rukutana’s loss of the Rushenyi county MP NRM Flagbearership.
Rukutana and fellow suspects are expected to appear in court on Monday.
All are in custody at Mbarara central police station CPS after being transferred from Ntungamo and are being charged with attempted murder and malicious damage vide NTUNGAMO SD 29/05/09/2020.
The other suspects include Minister Rukutana’s escorts; PC Agec Paul, PC Koozala Faizo, CPL Okello John Bosco and a driver Niwamanya Napoleon.

With people still wondering whether MC Ibrah hit on Lydia Jazmine and she refused, the singer has promised to end Star TV presenter MC Ibrah's career.
Singer, Lydia Nabawunuka, alias Lydia Jazmine took to her socials and demanded an apology from Star TV presenter and Wolokoso Extra YouTube boss, Ibrah K. Mukasa a.k.a MC Ibrah for alleged constant attacks which have “deeply affected” her mother, family and friends.
The “Masuuka” singer claims MC Ibrah has attacked her for a long time but she has always kept her cool and not responded but due to the much pain it has caused her, she demands a full apology and an intervention from UCC.
“I am hurt and pained by the way this man has constantly attacked me and dragged my name in the dirt. My sick mother, family and friends have been affected deeply by this. I don’t fight with people all i do is my music and mind my own business. You all know me, I never respond or fight anybody, I have always kept my silence but I Am human and this has brought so much pain to me. I ask for a full apology for all these insults. Father Dumps His 3 Months Old Baby at Clinic Where His Wife Died While Giving Birth
Mr Joseph Mukasa, a builder by proffesion dumped his three month old baby at a private clinic where his wife is said to have died from while giving birth to the child.
He accused the health workers at Acute Medical Centre of negligence that resulted into the death of his wife, Agnes Birungi, in April this year when she was admitted there for delivery.
Birungi died while undergoing caesarean section. Upon her death, the Kayunga District Police commander Mr John Lukooto, opened up a case of negligence against Dr Herbert Wabigogobi, the owner of the clinic. Dr Wabigogobi, who also works at Kayunga District hospital, was subsequently arrested and detained at Kayunga Police Station but was later released on police bond.
Frustrated by the slow pace of investigations into his case and alleged failure by Mr Wabigogobi to cooperate and support him to look after his baby, Mukasa, 49, and a resident of Ggaza Village in Kayunga Sub County, on Sunday morning carried his baby boy and dumped him at Dr Wabigogobi’s clinic claiming he wanted justice over the "death of his wife."
The incident attracted a big crowd at the ever busy health facility paralyzing business in the area. A few hours later, the baby was removed and taken to Kayunga Police Station by health workers.
"I want Dr Herbert [the proprietor of the clinic] to take care of my baby because he agreed to support me look after him following the death of my wife," Mr Mukasa shouted.

Legendary host and Dj Jacob Omutuzze has lashed out at People Power supporters for turning him into a punching bag. He claims many of them abuse him on social media using fake accounts.
"I am among the most abused people on social media. I hate People Power supporters because they troll me alot," he said in an interview with a local YouTuber.

Singer cm politician Bobi Wine revealed that he was close to President Museveni, his son Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and former IGP of Police, Kale Kayihura before he started speaking the truth about the regime.
Bobi Wine said this while holding an online concert on Sunday at Busabaala one Love Beach.
While singing Specioza song, he mixed the original lyrics with a free style of creative words and named many of the people who deserted him for power and money.
"My colleagues deserted me, they hate me ever since i started speaking the truth. The likes of Full Figure who was a close friend and many others. I want to speak about them, but i want to maintain the friendship because i still love them and I know, they love me too," he said.
He wondered why greed and money would decide the fate of good friendship.
"By the way, it is not only in the music industry were many people sidelined me. Muhoozi was my Frien, Kayihura was my Friend, Rukutana was my Friend, and even Museveni was my Friend. But they hate me now for speaking the truth," he added.
On many occasions, Bobi Wine was publicly seen with Muhoozi and Kayihura. Kayihura once appointed him as the ambassador of fighting crime in the ghetto.
In a space of three months, Bobi Wine has organised two concerts Online and both have been a success.

FLAVIA TUMUSIIME RETURNS TO CAPITAL FM
Seasonal Journalist Flavia Tumusiime is back on Capital FM after months off her duties.
Flavia Tumusiime gave birth to a bouncing baby early this year and she has been on maternity leave. She recently revealed that she was enjoying every bit of motherhood.
"I am back to work at Capital FM, my listeners it has been long but now we can enjoy together," she said on the Radio show.
She resumed work Monday.

GNL ZAMBA TO START MUSIC HIP HOP LABEL
Rapper GNL Zamba is the 'grandfather' of Hip hop music genre in the country. His tremendous contribution to the industry is felt even when is out of the country.
In a recent interview with a local newspaper, the singer said he is coming back in the country to reignite the Baboon Forest into the best selling music label in the country.
He has already started looking for young talented boys and girls to join the music label.
"Nas and Khaled asked me to start a label, run it and sign myself. That's the goal now, I am looking for talented young trees. I don't want to reach the promised land alone. So i am working to bring back Baboon Forest even in a better way," he said.

CATHERINE KUSASIRA TELLS POLICE TO ARREST BOBI WINE OVER FOOD PROTESTS.
Band singer Catherine Kusasira has asked Police to arrest Bobi Wine for advising Ugandans to protest against the government over food. Bobi Wine asked starving Ugandans to make noise every day at 1:00pm until the authorities distribute food to different parts of Kampala and sorrounding areas.
Kusasira accused Bobi Wine of hoodwinking Ugandans to stage unconstitutional demonstrations yet he continues to enjoy good life in Magere as they get arrested on his behalf.
"The chief demonstrator, Bobi Wine should be arrested for staging unconstitutional demonstrations. People received food in Kampala and Wakiso but they are being used by opportunists who live lavish lives," she said this while talking to press at her offices in Kampala.
President Museveni appointed Catherine Kusasira as his advisor on Kampala Matters.

SHEILA GASHUMBA'S BOYFRIEND SEEKS TO JOIN CLUBS IN UPL
Sheilah Gashumba's boyfriend, God's Plan loves football and he is interested in resurrecting his career.
He has expressed interest in playing football next season for any of the teams in the Uganda Premiere League(UPL).
He has not played professional football for over 10 years and many people doubt his ability to play well.
While appearing on NBS Score a few weeks ago, he revealed that he had trained with Arsenal youth team before joining Yeovil Reserve Team. Many Uganda continue to doubt his claim that played for Arsenal.
"Now I am ready to take on another challenge in my life after years. Any UPL team which is ready to take me up, I am available," he captioned a video of him training.

Musician Big Eye's former lover Don Zella continue to taunt him over several problems in his life.
She calls him half a man even when he fathered children with her.
Don Zella is very sure that Big Eye will die a desperate broke man because he loves free things. She says he has always refused to work, expecting free money from women and the NRM government.
"Big Eye will die as a desperate broke man if he doesn't stop asking for free things from the government. He is lazy yet he wants to live a luxurious life like other musicians like Eddy Kenzo who works hard," she says.

A while back, Tamale Mirundi Jnr expressed his admiration for Sheebah Karungi saying that he would marry her if he got a shot.
Tamale Mirundi senior was, however, not impressed by his son's statements.
In a new interview, Mirundi Jnr confirmed that his father threatened to burn him with acid if he ever brings Sheebah home.
“He told me to stop discussing her as my crush. I, however, still like Sheebah as my favorite musician,” Tamale Jr declared.
Tamale Mirundi senior was also quoted saying, "If you see a young boy admiring old women just know that one won’t develop. My son would be seeing young girls in Makerere but if he is admiring that one whose thighs are always out, i am disappointed and he can’t be my heir. I will chase him from my family".

First rising singer John Blaq separated with his management last month after it failed to account for his money.
John Blaq accused the management of cheating him over Shs 400million he had earned from different projects he did with different companies and from loyalties accumulated from many Telecom companies.
He was later accused of bonking his manager's girlfriend but he denies.
In an interview with Mc Ibrah, the musician said he forgot everything about his former management, he wishes them well but they will surely miss him.
"That management was started on a foundation based on brotherhood but it failed to reach where we planned. They will surely miss me because most of the wealth was accumulated from my efforts," he said.
John Blaq is currently looking for another management.

Sheilah Gashumba's boyfriend Marcus Ali Lwanga aka God's Plan is always armed with words when comes to people who criticise him over his past mistakes.
In an interview with Sanyu FM on Thursday morning, God's Plan attacked media houses such as Kampala Sun and Daily monitor's Sqoop on Sqoop saying they are full of uneducated people.
He said these newspapers only write negative stories about him and his girlfriend.

Sheilah Gashumba Attacks NTV Presenters For Shamefully Copying Her boyfriend, God’s Plan’s Concept And Football Skills.
Socialite Sheilah Gashumba is not happy with NTV presenters for what she calls copying her, God’s Plan’s concept. For starters, a few days back God’s Plan secured a sports gig to appear on NBS TV.
