Hey it’s LaTresha here. Can you believe I have been your public information officer/spokesperson here at Conway Police Department for 10 years? My how time flies.

I am the one who handles the social media, the one who asks you all to help congratulate an employee on a retirement or celebrate the great things they are doing. Well this post is a little different. I am the one who is leaving. Friday is my last day in the office. It has been one of the joys of my life to serve this department and the people of Conway. It hasn’t been a job, it’s been a ministry. Thank you for welcoming me and embracing and supporting my ideas and putting your trust in me. It was always my goal to practice transparency and keep you informed. I also worked hard to help build and nurture strong relationships between your CPD and the community, whether it was arranging for officers to attend events in the community to helping meet the needs of our community through the Cooling with Cops Fan giveaway to the Cops and Coats program for kids in need to the annual Child Safety Fair. I hope I have achieved that.

To the community I say, keep supporting your Conway Police. To the department I say, thanks for making me one of your own. You are like family. Take care of each other and remain compassionate and dedicated to protecting and serving the community while doing so with the utmost care and compassion. This is still my community and I want nothing but the best for it.

While I am looking forward to my next adventure, I will miss you all. Take care and be blessed!
