So I've heard both tribute covers of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". The Korn/Yelawolf track seemed like a true tribute and something fresh made from something classic. The Nickelback version was exactly what I expected it to be: boring. Korn wanted to pay tribute to a musician they idolize. Nickelback wanted to capitalize on the hype around the song due to Charlie Daniels' death. Sorry, Chad - you still suck.
