We’ve got lots of updates! Mostly good news mixed in with a small bit of bad news. We’ll start with the good news:
Manufacturing
We’ve received the prototype stands and they’re awesome. Each one weighs in at a whopping 300g or 0.66lbs! The weight combined with the silicone rubber base means it’s not going anywhere when you use Turn Up. After a minor shipping delay, the circuit boards finally arrived. The new boards are exciting because they allow us to make the housing a couple millimeters thinner while also providing some more reinforcement for the controls, giving a more solid feel to Turn Up overall. We’re happy to say there were no hiccups with the manufacturing process, and the boards are ready for mass production!
Software Updates
Your voices have been heard, we’ve been hard at work knocking out a few popular feature requests!
Macros! You can now record macros through a series of keystrokes, and Turn Up will repeat them back when you press the button the macro is assigned to.
Input Audio Device Volume - you can designate k***s to control the volume for specific audio input devices. This will allow you to control multiple audio inputs at once!
Streaming Enhancements - We’re working on adding support for mixing virtual input devices into virtual output devices, similar to Voice Meeter or GoXLR. This allows you to use k***s to independently control application volumes for your stream and your headset. The code for this is functional, but we’re still doing some UI enhancements to get this feature production ready.
Apply All button for Light Effects. We now allow you to sync all your lights with a quick & easy button. No need to click on each light just to get them all onto the same effect!
Stability enhancements and bug fixes. We’re continuing to maintain the existing code and make sure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Media for the Kickstarter Campaign
Filming and photography have both gone well, and our video producer has wrapped up the editing for the Kickstarter video! We finished up all of our content this past week, put it all together, and submitted it for review.
Now the bad news:
Unfortunately, Kickstarter has taken longer than their expected window to get back to us on approving our Kickstarter. This means we won’t be able to launch tomorrow on 11/17 as we planned, but we have everything ready to go as soon as we get the thumbs up from Kickstarter. We’ll let you know as soon as we’re approved and give you a couple days notice before launching so you don’t miss out on the early bird rewards!
