Congratulations to SKYLER GOH KAI'EN, the 2024 winner of the GOH SOON TIOE EXCELLENCE AWARD (SNYO)

"Skyler Goh has been a dedicated violist with the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) since 2016. She has performed as Principal Violist in SNYO concerts and most recently performed at first desk with SSO Principal Violist Ms Zhang Manchin at the SSO-SNYO side-by-side concert.

A mature and introspective young musician, Skyler is deeply appreciative of the opportunities she has to hone her orchestral and viola skills in the SNYO under the guidance of accomplished conductors and musicians. She is also incredibly thankful for the deep friendships she has formed in SNYO.

In her free time, Skyler enjoys listening to music while poring over orchestra scores and sipping bubble tea. Because of her passion for the viola and her belief in the role of music in cultivating a creative and compassionate society, Skyler hopes to continue to grow as a musician, under the tutelage of Mr Jonathan Lee, and contribute to the arts scene in Singapore."
