Some shots of the CheloniaCast team in action at the most recent Santa Fe River Turtle Project survey. Participating in this long-term research project is always a highlight of the year for all of us. It’s an honor to be able to get muddy alongside so many dedicated career and citizen scientists. This year data was taken from over 1,400 turtles over a two day period; a project record. All of this data will go towards better understanding the dynamics of the diverse turtle assemblage at this breathtaking study site.
