It's actually been a cold day with a current high of 6C but feels colder in the wind now.

Rivers will be rising this evening and probably over Station road at Hele tomorrow and Ellerhayes.

With 27MM falling in the last 16hrs, with 18 of this since midnight, the rivers are rising fast.
Lots of rain on the Blackdown hills will be sweeping down the Culm valley today. Looks like it might well be over the road at Hele this evening and definitely over at Ellerhayes bridge, Rewe and Stoke Canon. Other rivers are rising to.
Large amounts of water are coming off fields, making roads hazardous.
Rain clearing by lunchtime then showers moving in later.

Flooding on roads and rivers will be rising tomorrow. Gales also developing.

Pressure fell to 955.4mb around 3am and rainfall for the 24hrs to 5pm was 28.4mm.
Rivers now falling, and tomorrow a much better day.

Flooding of the river Culm at Hele, near Bradninch, Devon, England.

The video shows the sheer volume of water on the flood plain. Station Road and the railway line was under water for many hours.
This video will provide important details for councils, and Network Rail for helping to try and find a solution to the flooding issue here.
Businesses are fed up with being flooded here, and this video is not to glamorise anything, but to help with future planning!
Full permission was given to fly here, and a risk assessment was made prior to flying. A distance of over 50 metres was maintained from the railway (some video is zoomed in) even though there was no trains.

Flooding on most roads tonight from run off from fields. 12MM will fall in a short period. River levels will be high later tonight also.

Flooding on all roads and river flooding likely overnight. River Culm will be over many roads overnight including back roads of Rewe and Stoke Cannon. Ellerhayes Bridge will also be flooded tonight. Also risk of overflowing onto Station Road at Hele in the early hours. Rain expected to continue until midnight.
