Back home making adjustments taking a break while waiting for the visiting nurse I honestly wondered if I would ever make it back here but here I be... thanks to the Lord just hanging out with my girl Ella I miss her so much during the 80s some odd days I was gone proof that miracles do happen I should have been dead five different ways and that's not an exaggeration septic shock septic shock psychotic episode kidney failure liver failure heart stoppage all creating a perfect storm looking to take me out but with the prayers of all my people and the Lord above I am here back at home much to the Chagrin of my wife I'm sure as it requires help from other people and she has a busy schedule it's not easy God bless you all may you have a blessed day

First taste of non-institutional air.. I was on my back for 40 days and in rehab for 30 days I am at the doctor's office this is my first visit the first time out of the institution Dr.JAine is the physician that performed my amputation and I truly believe in a testimonial to him I think he was THEE DOC for the job... conclusion of the examination which included him rooting around cleaning the wound with a scalpel and a scissor no anesthesia not that I didn't ask but he said it wouldn't hurt as most of it dead tissue.. somebody asked me how I could be so positive I said well I should have been could have been dead had several serious days wasn't expected to live so in light of I could have been dead I am in good spirits because I was taught a core of values by my parents and maybe we kept 50% of the good core the rest we tossed out... I grew up in a town with the great Olympic weightlifting champion the great PHILLIP GRIPPALD... he was my hero... it seemed like being from Belleville and knowing that.... you can accomplish anything because you always had the whole village behind you you had a great example it made you work harder in everything you did. in Belleville you were expected to participate in something and then do your best at it until such time you decide to do something else we are people of BELLEVILLE... we don't lay down and most of all we never give up.. First taste of non hospital/ rehab air.. had to see Dr Jaine the doctor that amputated my leg well he saved as much as possible which I believe would have possibly been less otherwise... awesome guy talk to him like he's your friend prognosis healing excellent he cleaned it up with a scalpel and a scissor right there in the office... no kidding didn't really hurt well just a little... I've been down 70 days....40 on my back and 30 days in rehab I'm definitely ready to go home.. God bless you all and thank you for the continued love support and most of all prayers it definitely works praise God

First time breathing non institutional air been inside hospital or rehab center for the previous 70 consecutive days... 40 on my back.I had my first doctors appointment with the tremendous doctor Who Saved more of my leg then maybe would have otherwise...Dr Jaine... results of first ever examination of my lower leg...healing is excellent he cleaned it up right there in the office with a scalpel and a scissor.. no really didn't even hurt...... the core values taught by your parents maybe you keep 60% and throw away 40%. I will say this growing up in the great town of BELLEVILLE... home of OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPION THE GREAT PHILI GRIPPALDI and I can tell you you that you had to Excel...in SOMETHING.... You Never Back Down MOST OF ALL...NEVER GIVE UP....FAILURE NOT AN OPTION.....and you're close to your family and a very select few friends... when you are young... you think you have tons of friends.. the older you get the less friends you have.....you realize it's a really small group.. much love to all and bless you for your continued love support and most of all prayers...PRAISE GOD
