A member of the JCF namely District Constable Jarret was shot and killed by gunmen some time last night on Berick road along Maxfield. Its said that D/C Jarret who's assigned to the darling Street police station went to drop off a female companion when he was ambushed and shot by gunmen. His firearm also reportedly taken.

It's reported that a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force was involved in a fatal motor vehicle collision yesterday about 11:45 pm in the church Road vicinity Nestle.

Cons Ricardo Williams who's of the Kingston Western Division was driving a 2015 Grey Toyota Corolla motor car along the said roadway when he lost control of the vehicle and collided in a utility post he sustained injuries.
Mr Williams was then assisted to the Linstead Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Gunmen attacked and robbed a berrilium brinks truck in Portmore Pines in St catherine moments ago.. its reported that a male and a female security personel was shot multiple times.. the male is presumed dead while the female is in serious condition.

Its been reported that a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force was shot and injured last night. Constable Jerome Myers of the St Andrew South PIU was shot and injured in the Greenwich Farm Third Street area.
Cons Myers was on mobile patrol providing some support in the area when gunmen open fire on the police team.

He was shot in his upper body and his leg. Its reported that his bullet proof vest reduced further injuries.
Constable Myers is currently being treated at the Kingston Public hospital..

It's been reported that a trainee Constable died a few moments ago at the National Police college of Jamaica Twickenham Spanish Town. Trainee Constable Tishwan Brown died as a result of a head injury he received during a running exercise where he fell and hit his head. Its reported that he succumbed to the injuries whilst being transported to the hospital. Further updates will follow.

The Jamaica Constabulary force is mourning the death of one of its memeber namely District Constable Forsythe, he was assigned to the St. Thomas police division. DC Forsythe was fatally shot today by gunmen who were in the process of committing a robbery in the said parish. It's reported that the police officer had previously concluded duty and was in his area of residence where he was informed about the robbery, he then went to investigate the matter where he was shot multiple times.

……. Its reported that a Jamaica defence Force (jdf) private soldier died resulting from a gunshot wound which he received whilst on duty.

Full details surrounding the incident are unclear as this time but its alleged that the soldier fell asleep and had a negligent discharge inflicting the wound to himself.

District Constable Herbert Gayle died moments ago while undergoing treatment at the Kingston Public hospital (KPH). DC Gayle was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident in Kingston East Division earlier.

Cons Higgins was involved in a motor vehicle accident on his way to Probationers Exam some time yesterday and was admitted in hospital up to the time of his passing.
