"Freak of Nature" is a student-animated short film created by JP Schiller at Ringling College of Art + Design.

It's not easy, being an undiscovered species. Join Percy as they recall what it was like to be the first platypus discovered by humanity, and the misconceptions that came from it.

This project took me a year and a half to make, and to finally have this film out in the world is extraordinary! I'm so thankful to be able to share this experience with you all, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved creating it!

Alright everyone, it's showtime!
Tonight, at 7 PM EST, is the virtual Computer Animation Senior Show! Come watch "Freak of Nature" alongside many other incredible films from my peers!

This will be the one and only premiere of the films, which will be fully released to the public after they run through film festival circuits. This means that once this show has finished, it won't be available for a bit. Be there or be square!

Can't wait to see you all there, and make sure to stick around after the show to see the After Party Skits!
