Campaign finance reform. We’ve all heard the Democrats cry about corporate cash supporting Republican candidates (”corporations aren’t people!”), while they rake in gigantic piles of cash through their own shady pipelines.
The only true solution for the abuse of campaign funding is to eliminate any and all out of state donations to political campaigns. Even presidential campaign donations should route through the states and be audited. Your congressional representatives and senators are receiving campaign funding from states they do not represent, made necessary because organized campaign funding comes to their opponents from outside sources as well. This door should be shut, locked, and barricaded permanently.
Not to mention repealing the 17th Amendment and placing the responsibility of choosing Congressional representation back in the hands of state legislatures rather than open elections.
