Crash with entrapment & fire was at I-295 and Benning Rd NE. once Dcfd arrived they found 2 vehicles involved with 1 on fire. Sadly, one individual is deceased on scene. The call was dispatched at 6:50 AM. There was also a patient transported. 3 individuals declined treatment #DCsBravest
The Metropolitan Police Department said officers arrested three girls in connection to a murder that happened in October.On Thursday, police arrested the first teenager they determined to be a suspect, a 13-year-old girl, and charged her with second-degree murder, according to a statement released by MPD.The statement said that two more girls, aged 12 and 13, were arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Friday.The charges are related to the murder of 64-year-old Reggie Brown which took place on Oct. 17.MPD responded on October 2023 to a man down call at approximately 12:54 a.m. in the 6200 block of Georgia Ave. NW. where they found Mr. Brown with trauma they determined to be from an assault. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy which found the cause of death was blunt force trauma and Brown’s death was ruled a homicide.
On March 26TH 2024 Teens were seen pistol whipping another teen at 19th & Benning Rd N.E in broad daylight. Luckily the teen still has his life.
