Did you miss our developer tips? 👨🏻‍💻
We’ve come up with a new one regarding a new “inject” function. It was initially introduced in Angular v14.
This function allows developers to inject a dependency from the currently active injector into a class or function. The key benefits of using inject are:

✔️It simplifies the process of requesting dependencies, as developers no longer need to use verbose approaches such as factories or manual dependency injection.
✔️It allows developers to request dependencies from anywhere within the DI system, including from within a class constructor, field initializer, or provider factory function.
✔️It supports type inference, meaning that developers do not need to specify the type of the dependency being requested.
✔️It supports a number of injection options, including the ability to specify Host, Self, SkipSelf, and Optional injection strategies.
✔️It allows developers to request optional dependencies, which will return null if the dependency is not found in the injector.
✔️It can be used to implement complex injection patterns, such as lazy-loaded services or scoped providers.
✔️It can improve the readability and maintainability of code by reducing the amount of boilerplate required to request dependencies.

Overall, the inject function is a useful addition to Angular API that can help developers write cleaner and more efficient code.

Wanna know about the ng-conf from the conference attendee? We have a story of our host Aliaksei Kuncevic for you!

The conference registration was officially opened on the 31 of August. In the evening Aliaksei met a lot of people in person first time. Most of us was really tired after the flight or a long trip, however were happy to get together and Aliaksei had a chance to discuss a lot of things with Misko Havery who is now building a new framework called Qwik and Shai Resnik who was an official MC for the ng conf 2022.

The 1 of September was the official first ng-conf day that started with an awesome breakfast followed by a keynote from the Angular team followed up by the single track talks.

Next day there were 2 different tracks, in other words multiple talks were running at the same time so if you visited one you would miss the other. Still we all have an opportunity to catch up on all missed talks once they will be pushed online. Don’t miss them, fellows!

The evening was full of fun events like Angular Pull request workshop, Karaoke party, Board games, Trivia and more.

There was a secret mission for Aliaksei from Mark Whitfeld, the NGXS team lead, to distribute the NGXS t-shirts. The mission was successfully accomplished by the third day of the ng-conf that also helped to chat with even more cool people around the conf.

The third day breakfast was followed up by Community Keynote and another series of awesome talks. Unfortunately, Aliaksei didn’t have a chance to stay up until the end of all events because of the long way back to San Francisco. However, just before he left he took part in trivia organized by Rangle. It was great fun answering all the Angular-related questions and actually winning the awesome Raspberry Pi Pico as a prize! Great finale of first ng-conf!

On this day wesome people from Octa gave Aliaksei an ng-conf-2019-themed rubik's cube with a bit of history. Aliaksei promised that it would be passed to someone else the next year at ng-conf 2023. So there is no chance to miss the conference next year!

4️⃣ cities and an uncountable number of wonderful places in a week - done!
San Francisco was a starting point on the way to ng-conf. Foggy Golden Bridge 🌉 and the mysterious Alcatraz were impressive! As for Stanford, we all would graduate again to feel that spirit 👨🏻‍🎓.
As planned, Aliaksei visited SF Office. It was cool to meet the Angular Team in person! The lunch and conversation pushed for new ideas and made us happy to be a part of the Angular Community! 🤝
According to your recommendations the farther path runs along the route 1️⃣ near the ocean 🌊 with beautiful parts like Mojave Mountains ⛰, San Simeon, Santa Barbara and Big Sur. It was incredible to watch sea lions 🦦 and visit beautiful Hearst Castle on Enchanted Hill.
Los Angeles showed itself to be a night city 🌃. Walk of Fame, Petersen Automotive Museum with a huge collection of motorcycles and Hollywood Wax Museum are really worth seeing!
Las Vegas surprised with crowds of people in the streets. The Bellagio Water Show was a unique experience. All the big hotels on the main street of Vegas are connected by small bridges. Every hotel has a casino 🎰 on the ground floor, so once you are checking in into one of them you like asking yourself if it really is a hotel or if you are staying in the casino.
And again mountain views ⛰ on the way to Salt Lake. Red Rocks are something unbelievable! Colorado Plateau, Great Basin and Mojave Deserts get together in Zion Park which was the last but not the least segment of the way to Salt Lake. Here one can entirely feel the power of nature.
Hope the story of journey and terrific pictures gave you some rest and now you are ready to get back to technologies in our next post about ng-conf. 💪🏻
Did you recognize a movie character in the photo? Leave your answers in the comments and share your USA travelling experience!

🔥The dream comes true and Angular Rocks is attending ng-conf!

The ng-conf is a legend in the IT world 🌎. Our team was watching the live event each year, but participating in person is an absolutely different experience.
After 2 years of waiting because of COVID-19 pandemic, the conference has returned to offline format and our host Aliaksei Kuncevic is going to travel to the event! There are so many cool talks being announced by IT gurus 👳🏻‍♂️ like Jeff
Cross , Shai Reznik , John Papa .papa, Stephen Fluin , Alex Rickabaugh.

Great people from the Angular community will gather on the ng-conf, some of them were guests on Angular Rocks podcast and that’s a great opportunity to discuss douzens of professional subjects directly 🤝🏻. Misko Hevery, Jeremy Elbourn, Minko Gechev, Justin Schwartzenberger , Alan Agius and more!

Besides, it is Aliaksei's first trip ✈️ to the USA and he is going to visit a number of incredible places. To leave this trip in our memories, we are going to hold a photo-challenge 📸 for Angular Rocks followers and listeners.

Everyday Aliaksei is going to take a picture 🌄 of something that might be associated with Angular Rocks 🏔 and post it in stories. You can give your options of an association.

The daily winners will be definitely rewarded with some awesome Angular Rocks branded swag! 🎁

Waiting forward for your comments and advice on what to visit on the route! See you soon! 😎

Well, GDG Sydney: July meetup is over, but positive emotions are here with me! Did you manage to join in person or via live-stream❓

Aliaksei tried to make his presentation interactive this time 🤹🏻‍♂️, so the audience had a question-answer session and short live coding demo!
