Episode 3 is live with the introduction of our new segment called First Voices.

Our first guest is Helen Semaganis. Helen is a Nehiyaw Iskwew from Poundmaker Cree Nation, and is a proud mother of five. Helen has been practicing law since 1996, she’s a member of the Indigenous Peoples’ Counsel, and recently received a Queen’s Counsel designation. We were absolutely honoured to chat with Helen, hear about her experiences and share some good laughs.

We are so pleased to announce that Episode 3 is the start of our First Voices: Guest Speaker series! Our first guest is a Nehiyaw Iskwew, a mother of five, a member of the Indigenous People’s Council, and a recently named Queen’s Counsel appointee. We were so honoured to hear her story of 25 years of practice, a woman so generous with her knowledge and wisdom.
